I ordered mine from a chinese seller on ebay. Im not sure i will get to see pictures before they ship it but i guess it never bothered me either. But in my case i am able to go buy another if need be. As far as for you thats not the case so i would be alittle worried as well. Maybe research other chinese sellers?

It would kind of bother me to not see some pictures, but given that they have such great feedback it’ll probably be just fine. I only ever hear good things about them. It is annoying though, how busy can you be not to send a photo?!

@Overjoyed:  Sometimes if you politely say the photos are essential and you are willing to wait longer for them, Dressilyme will agree to send photos even if they initially say no. I would definitely not buy without getting to see photos, because while they do make many nice gowns I have seen a few that had strange misunderstandings (like one time when someone asked for a corset back and they still left the buttons on the back despite making it a corset). I’ve also seen gowns with details like ruffles, ruching, or beading that initially looked a bit off in the photos and needed to be fixed to make the gown look really nice.

The other option would be to try Fabulous U: http://www.thefabulousu.com/

They use nothing but images of their own work on their website so I think they would be happy to send you photos.

Ive been talking to Paris from the pre sales and just this morning she said I would be able to see the dress before it ships. I would just ask nicely again and say its important to you.

@Overjoyed:  Glad that Fabulous U seems to be able to help you! I thought their photos looked pretty good. Keep us updated on how it goes with your dress.

@Overjoyed:  can’t wait to see update on the progress of your dream dress. I have just emailed Fab U too for a quote… Do you know if Fab U does mid-production photos like Jasmines? I have emailed Jasmines, Dressilyme and Elegant Park… Jasmine is in their busy period and my request is last on their list of priorities, Dressilyme can’t do my dress and Elegant Park have been really helpful and prompt in their replies but they said they don’t do mid-production pictures but to “trust” them. I would very much prefer having mid-production pictures as it you correct/customise if required as it goes along.

Would love it if you could post pictures of how the dress turns out, I am thinking of getting a replica made of the same one (Dakota)!

Hi all,

Some resource has freed up, and we are taking orders without customization and with minor customizations now 🙂

@JasminesBridal:

Hi,

I sent an email a couple weeks ago with some customisations from the picture (different neckline and higher back). Do you think you’ll be able to look see if its possible. I’m not in a hurry for my dress and can wait.

Cheers

@JasminesBridal:  Hooray, good to know, thanks for posting! Not to hijack the thread, but if you have any pictures of any completed Enzoani Dakota replicas that you’ve done lying around, I would absolutely love to see them! 🙂
