I feel like one of the bees on here is having it custom made by Jasmine’s bridal. Have you checked that thread out yet?

@ineslover:  Yowza! So thats what a $30,000 dress looks like. I’ve never seen anything like that before, but good luck finding your dress.

I doubt J’Aton would make this exact dress again, given it’s quite iconic…your best bet is probably to find a good seamstress who can do a simplified version of it (or Jasmine’s might be an option too, but they definitely wouldn’t be able to make an exact copy given the intricacy of the design).

Jasmines has refused to do that dress in the past (its literally the only dress ive ever heard of them refusing), but they just made this one which is similar for barbiestylez:

Where do you live?

If you live by a fashion/design school (a legit 4-year one, not just some crappy program with two sewing machines at your local community college), you could e-mail some professors and see if some high-level students could collaborate to create it (or something similar) for a small stipend/extra credit/portfolio experience!

@ineslover:  Isn’t it beautiful!?

The closest thing i’ve found to that dress is this

Do you have any ties with Australia? I only ask as the bride/couple in your original pics are from the city I live in (in Aus) and the designer for the dress in the above link (Connie Simonetti) is Australian too (I have an appointment this weekend at one of their boutiques, can’t wait!)

It’s possible they are stocked in boutiques overseas though as she’s very well known here. Still pricey but not quite as much as J’Aton! good luck!

@ineslover:  I also love the skirt on this dress. I was looking for something similar and I’ve gone for this, the skirt isn’t quite as full but once I had a crinoline on it looked amazing, and a really reasonable price.
