Not uncommon for a retail outlet to have once a week pickup to send out to the actual jewelers who do their work offsite. They need to send enough work orders in to make it worth the pickup fees. I’d say this qualifies for “delay and annoyance” but nowhere near reaching horror story level. Have a nice bubble bath and let go of your stress.

Bah, I don’t like JCP for jewelry. When I got a ring resized I think from a seven as well to a 5.5 it came back all crooked. Then it lost two stones on two different occasions which had to be sent out twice for about two weeks each time. They would also never call. Jerks. It was pretty inexpensive (only fifty bucks) but still… I eventually gave up so now it’s sitting in a drawer somewhere.

I’ve lost 4 stones from my micro pave setting since the proposal in January. As we speak, there’s one missing on the halo. I’m getting really tired of having to drop it off at the jewelrs. I’ve considered getting a different setting maybe? But my Fiance had enhances custom made to fit to the ring and they were really expensive so now I’m stuck. Every time I drop it off their “a couple of days” turns into a week until I freak out and yell at them and they give it back.
