I’m in a pickle. I’ve ordered JCrew dresses for my bridesmaids: Juliet in Light Berry, silk chiffon. The dresses arrived today and are really pretty. (I highly recommend JCrew for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses ;))
Now onto my little girls, our flower girls. I saw the Seesaw dress (link below) at the store in Salmon. I thought it was cute and ordered the dress to come in Ivory. I liked the dress because it has the same silk material at my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and it looks light and airy. It’s also a great price.
(1) Seesaw Dress:
Then, tonite I saw the silk jacard dress with the polka dots on sale.
(2) Silk Polka Dot Dress:
Now, I don’t know which is better.
Is the Seesaw dress even appropriate for a flower girl dress? I dont want to spend a lot of money because kids grow so fast, but I do want to make sure the dress is an appropriate flower girl dress.
What do you think?

I like the second one more, but it costs so much more.

I think the second one is too cute! I really like it and it just looks more like a flower girl dress to me. That’s my vote 🙂

I think I’d pick them depending on the ages of the girls. Younger(like 2 or 3), number 2 is more appropriate. Pretty!

Ms Puppyjacks, what did you decide? I ordered the seesaw dress and the bea dress for my flowergirls. They haven’t arrived yet, so I’m not sure which one we will choose. I liked the seesaw dress b/c the lines remind me of my dress. If we go w/this dress, I will probably add some kind of detailing, but not sure what yet.

@brwneyedgirl: I ended up choosing the seesaw dress. It’s cute and the little girls can wear them again. And yeah, some detailing would be great as the dress is plain. The dress even has pockets. Unfortunately, I found another flower girl dress that I originally eyed that went on sale last week – so I ordered that instead. So, I returned my seesaw dress :(, BUT if my new dresses don’t work out, I’m gonna use the seesaw dress! Here are some photos to help you out! 🙂

Thanks for the posting the pictures, Ms. Puppyjacks. I can’t wait for the girls to try on the dresses and compare. It’s so hard to find affordable dresses for the flower girls. Everything I like is almost $200!

Your welcome! 🙂 Hope it works out!
I know!!! That’s why I resorted to JCrew. Anything with the word “flower girl” gets inflated. Though, you might want to check out department store sales. Neiman Marcus had a 1 day sale for 30% off of everything online and there were good deals. And Nordstroms is going to have their annual half yearly sale soon. Good Luck!
