I bought the the most beautiful pair of JCrew shoes that ranked high on the cute factor. The problem- they’re uncomfortable. It seems like the part where the fabric of the shoe and the leather meet on the insole is just annoying. Does anyone else have J Crew shoes that are slightly uncomfortable. Do you think small gel pad/insoles would solve the problem?

I wouldn’t wear them if they are that uncomfortable. It is one thing to wear uncomfortable shoes for a night out on the town, but you are going to be in your shoes ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT. You will put them on a few hours before the ceremony, and wear them until you go to bed that night (roughly… depending on the time of your wedding.. hee hee!).
If they are uncomfortable, little gel pads are only going to work for a bit, and you’ll still end up with sore feet about a hour or two into the day. You don’t want to be bothered by foot pain on your big day- you’re better off finding another pair of shoes that works better.
PS- The shoes are super cute! I think you could still wear them to other events. (Maybe even the rehearsal dinner?)

I don’t own any J.Crew heels, but in general, I rarely have a pair of shoes, heel or flat, not hurt when I wear them the first few times. Take some time to break them in first, preferably when you’re wearing sweats and doing errands around the house — that’s how I’ll be doing it, haha! Also, people seem to sing Foot Petals praises so I would give those a try — they’re pretty affordable and a small price to pay for comfort on your wedding day!
