We actually just ordered this tux for our wedding this August. We wanted grey instead of black as it can be hot here in August and we are having an outdoor wedding. It is truely a charcoal grey. Just the right shade. Not too dark so it doesn’t look black but not too light either. We are doing this color tux with a Malibu/turquoise vest and tie. Didn’t get to try it on but we got to see a swatch of the material/color. Highly recommend as we picked this tux over the new men’s Allure line of tuxes in grey. Good luck with whatever you decide!

@ekee:

I do not have a picture of the swatch but it is true to color of what it looks like in the pics. I can take some pics of the swatch in June when we go back for all the men to be sized and will have pics of the actual tuxes at the end of August when we pick them up.

Mysweetpea1003: Hello, my Fiance and I are leaning toward the Jean Yves Steel Grey Twilight tux or the Allure Steel Grey. He’s slim (31″ waist and 5’7 height), so that’s why we’re considering Allure vs Twilight because the tux place told us it’s a more trim fit. However, they won’t let us try on the tuxes until June due to prom season (strange I think), so could you post pictures of your groom/groomsmen so we could see the Twilight version? We like the formality of the satin lapel on the pockets better than the Allure.

If you’re not doing black/midnight blue, I’d just go to suits, and tose will be easier to find, plus everyone needs a grey suit.
