I’m a bit taller than you (5’6″) but I have a big butt and hips and have good luck with Coldwater Creek’s jeans.

I don’t have any help for you, but can’t wait to hear from the other ladies. i have the same issues and always have the gap in the back. Jeans shopping is torture!

I have full hips and a small waist (14″ difference between widest part of the hips and narrowest part of the waist).

I LOVE both Joe’s Jeans and Rock & Republic Jeans. They tend to fit really well. Unfortunately they are pretty expensive.

The only jeans that I’ve found that fit me pretty well are H&M and American Eagle Jeans.  I’m getting a little too old to be shopping at AE, but they are super comfy and cute.

I would love to see everyone elses suggestions for a good pair of jeans.

I have great luck with jeans at Old Navy and New York and Co.

P.S. I moved this into The Lounge. 🙂

@cleve_girl01: Find a good tailor.  It is impossible for me to buy any pair of pants and have them fit me right off the shelf.    Every pair has the gap (and many need hemming too).  A good tailor can eliminate the gap and make them fit perfectly!

I’ve found that jeans from Target, of all places, work well…I think they’re Mossimo? I have a 15″ difference between my waist and hip measurements, but rarely have any gap with those jeans.

@kaylee26: It makes it hard to buy jeans that fit properly, that’s for sure–I’m pretty short, too (5’4″). I’ve had some luck with brands like Levi, etc. in the past, but they don’t fit as well as they did when I was a teenager! Imagine that. ;P
