talk to your seamstress about your options when your dress comes in.

you don’t want to pay for a bustle? do you think chopping the train off is going to be free? i would guess it’s more expensive than just adding a couple of hooks.

@Birdie Love: I just had my second fitting after chopping off my Jenna train! I am having a destination wedding and decided I did not want to mess with the extra weight/fabric when on the plane, beach, etc.  Keep in mind that it has not been steamed and fluffed yet in the picture – but it will give you an idea of what it looks like all one length. Hope this helps!

@andilynn09: wow, totally looks awesome! i almost wish i did too! but i thought as i am also having a destination wedding and have to travel through 3 airports!  but i want it for the pics on the beach AND i plan to sell it after, so i decided i should not chop it.

I just had my destination wedding two weeks ago and thought I would post some of our wedding pics so you could see what the dress really looks like after I chopped the train. It was windy on the beach, so you can’t exacly see all three layers since they’re blowing around – but it gives you a better idea of what it looks like than just the stiff pictureat the bridal shop I posted in the past.It looked amazing, and I was so glad I did it!

o m g! your dress looks soo good! plus i love your pictures. I am a jenna bride too and having a destination wedding. except for we are getting married at sea! My dress is coming in 2 weeks and counting and i was just looking back at the pictures and the train is kind of bothering me.. im wondering if i could have it shortened maybe not cut off all the way… what you guys think?

I didn’t end up going with the Jenna dress, but one of the main things that I LOVED on the dress was the train!! Haha 🙂

I think it could be bustled quite nicely – I’d never chop it completely off because it’s just too pretty!

@andilynn09: Your pictures are beautiful! I love the Jenna dress, it looks amazing in pictures! I almost ordered Jenna but ended up going with another Maggie dress, I am still having the train cut off though!
