There is a lady at my work doing Jenny Craig.  She started this past fall and has lost 50 lbs.  She looks amazing and loves Jenny!  I wanted to ask you: is it pricey?  Also, do you provide your own food for dinner or just eat Jenny food?  Best wishes!  πŸ™‚

Ive lost 40 pounds in 3 months last spring but I followed some medical advice from my doctor. All I can say is loosing weight fast feels absolutely horrible. Take it slow and steady to your goal and dont loose hope.

@PilotsGirl56:  I looked into it and it can be pricey, depending on the plan. I don’t remember what the cost was, but I remember thinking, if I was single, I would be slightly more if you take into account going out (or ordering in) food from a restaurant a 1-2 times a week. But for the 2 of us, it was just too expensive.

I totally agree with the ‘slow and steady’ advice.  It’s healthier that way, and you’re far more likely to keep it up.  I’ve lost 53 lbs in a year for my wedding in September and hope to lose another 20 lbs or so by then.

I’ve done a LOT of different diet plans over the years, so I kinda know what I should and shouldn’t do and this time I decided to do it without a class.  I’ve been using a free iPhone app called myfitnesspal (they have a website you can log into if you don’t have an iPhone – I think it’s myfitnesspal.com) which lets me count my calories and monitor my exercise, and track my weight loss and measurement progress.

To stop me cheating, which I usually do without the guilt of a weigh-in to keep me on track, I’ve asked a few tactful dieter friends to ask me where I’m at with my diet when they see me.

I wish you lots of luck with your weight loss!

Ive bin useing Sparkpeople.com. I have a app on my Android and Kindle Fire. Seeing what you eat everyday really helps me stay on track.

Ive bin doing low carb diet. Although I do cheat on certain days, but even Dr. OZ says you need to cheat in order to stay on track. I also do my Gazelle for 30 mintues 5 times a week, yoga once a week and a line danceing class on tuesday nights.
