I think the ring is lovely. It’s suits her larger than life personality, which she has honed to perfection.

Her views on vaccines are a whole different matter. It makes me furious that she has sent us back to the dark ages because of something she believed in. Where are the facts? Scientific proof is sorely lacking here and it’s hurting people worldwide.

I am a relative of the medical officer in my city who helped reduce incidents of typhoid fever. After losing his daughter to a typhoid outbreak he made pasteurization of milk mandatory in my city (early 1900’s).

If you travel to Asia, Africa, and Central or South America do check with your GP to see if you should be immunized. (and still be cautious with food etc.)

I value facts over opinions and view McCarthy as a wingnut who has no business in the scientific arena.

Still, nice rock. 🙂

Nope, nope, nope. Bigger isn’t always better. It looks dull and cheap to me. I am not a fan of yellow, either.

That ring doesnt look like it is the right size for her hand, and it needs a good cleaning. Maybe then it ywould look prettier?

regardless, Jenny McCarthy is famous for claiming her son’s vaccines gave him autism. Which she then “cured” him of.  At best she misunderstood a misdiagnosis of a different disease in her son. More realistically she saw a way to get attention and ran with it, in the meantime making thousands of parents of autistic children feel guilty that this was somehow their fault when that is utter bull. correlation is not causation. Even worse, she is now making anyone who buys her bullshit feel as though if they only tried harder they too could “cure” their children’s autism… Having an autistic child is hard enough, adding in extra shame for not ‘trying to cure them enough’ is both utterly wrong (autism is about as curable as blue eyes) and cruel.

It looks tacky, much like the wearer.

Eh, I don’t really like it. I love sapphires and bling and something a bit unique, but not this one. I can’t quite put my finger on why I dislike it, but I just do. I like yellow diamonds and I am sure it would have looked better with that in the center, but the setting is off somehow, too.
