@maxip:  Congratulations Willow is a gorgeous dress, it was my top contender but I went for Aspen in the end.  I would actually avoid heavily beaded headbands withwillow especially if you’re using nice jewelry.  Of all the dresses willow is one of the most beaded/shimmery dresses if you go for a headband I’d get a very simple one and I’d avoid the veil (or a simpler definitely no lace veil)

@Ettalie:  I loved aspen!!!! It’s a beautiful dress, I’m sure you look gorgeous in it!

thanks for the advice!!! I was thinking maybe the headband the model wears with willow in the jenny packham advertisement for the spring 2012 collection but we’ll see. Next month I’m going to jp trunk show and I plan on trying on the dress again with some options…. Ill post them to see what might look best

It’s great to find some Justice of the Peace brides. I love all her dresses. I’m going dress shopping in a fortnight and I can’t wait to try Jade on.

@kellyyoung:  Hi Kelly,  is your dress still available?  I finally got the chance to try the Aspen dress on yesterday and have fallen madly in love with it.  Thank you Anh

For all of you who have purchased or tried on Jenny Packham’s Aspen, do you mind telling me what is layered under the chiffon in the skirt? The dress is currently on my shortlist, but I have been unable to try it on since I currently live in a country with very few designer bridal boutiques.

Thanks!

@snowinsept:  From memory (I tried one at the beginning of my search, back in Nov) it was a pure silk slip. I remember it feeling incredibly luxurious, like nothing I’d ever ever worn before!

I’ve always thought this Adrianna Papell from Nordstroms looks like a Justice of the Peace, looks like I’m not the only one!

Hello ladies! My wedding is in 3 weeks! AGH! And I just picked up my Justice of the Peace dress today, I’m wearing the Esme gown in Ivory and I have the Rachel Simpson “Mimi” shoes and Polly Edwards Headband. I’m carrying peonies and hydrangeas which will be cream with a hint of blush pink through the peonies. I decided not to go with a veil as 1) They freak me out and aren’t really me and 2) I didn’t want to detract from the IMMENSE detailing on my dress. I’m so excited! Trying to decide between dangly earrings or small danglies, or studs. Thinking of having my hair as messy vintage updo. Here’s my dress (obvs, not me in the picture!)

So I have a general question….. I’ve been debating headbands and I have found a few I like, but to be honest I alwasy keep going back to some of the Justice of the Peace headbands to go with my willow. So0o0o I finally gave in and made an appointment next week to check some of them out in person. SInce I splurged on the dress, would be justifiable to just go ahead and splurge on a headband? They run in the 6-700s (but I’m sure we all know that because we’ve all checked them out at some point lol) Any ideas??

@Kinnordy_Belle:  Sad to say but for some reason your picture didn’t show up.

@maxip:  If you feel your budget can handle the splurge go right ahead!

kellyyoung:  Hi! Just wondering if you have sold your dress yet? I’m looking for Aspen size 6-8.

Let me know 🙂
