Have you checked out the Liberty restaurant in the park in JC? Not sure if you will get $110 per person, though.

We checked out Puccini’s in Jersey City.  It was 70pp.  Although I like it I found that that it didn’t save us any money as compared to a traditional wedding venue.

What do you mean by that? Does a traditional venue offer more for the same price?

@Mommalita: Yes a traditional offered 3x as much for only $10 more per person.  It was a full cocktail hour, sit down dinner (apps, salad, internezzo, dinner), open bar, dessert table and wedding cake.  At the resturant it was a regular dinner only – app, salad, dinner and a dessert.  So to us it seemed almost silly to go the resturant option.

Michael Anthony’s in Jersey City does accommodate weddings. Not sure of what they charge but I had a birthday party event there and they were very reasonable. You can customize the things you want and dont want and they do not fit you into some package price. Not so sure about weddings though.
