We have used Petra Gems for custom rings. The owner was very responsive and the price was great. I know they can use rose gold. They have amazing reviews… they have a Web site and can be found on etsy.

Whitetoes:  I’m sure I won’t be the only one to make this suggestion: David Klass. I recently got a custom ring from him (fairly simple solitaire, rose gold) and it was less than 1K. I had a pretty good experience working with him, too. There are several Bees who have also used him successfully and been really happy, overall.

But, I know there are other Bees who have not had as much luck working with him. Not trying to be a downer or anything, but just wanted to make sure to put all the info out there for you. Good luck in finding someone to make you the perfect ring! I’m excited for you.

Whitetoes:  If you’re after custom, I’m going to second David Klass. Everything I’ve seen come off his bench has been absolutely gorgeous.

That said, what you seem to be after is right in the wheelhouse of  Rosado’s Box. I haven’t ordered anything from them (I’m stictly in the lusting phase), but other bees have, and seem happy with their work. They’ll even customize their standard designs if you want to tweak something.

Something like this, maybe? https://www.etsy.com/listing/219487047/eloise-75mm-14kt-rose-gold-round-fb?ref=shop_home_active_8&ga_search_query=eloise

With these wedding bands, you can find the engagement ring you want and most work with them. You would probably want to solder the band, however. Not sure if this would help, but thought I would put it out there, as I’d never seen anything like this before!

Anyone have any experience with bands like these?

An etsy seller sells these. Let me know if you want the seller info πŸ™‚

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I was under the impression that rose gold isn’t best suited as a prong. That’s why it’s normally a different material.

You should check out Shane Co, they have a lovely rose gold pave engagement ring with matching wedding ring. πŸ™‚

Whitetoes:  I think it would work! You’d just have to measure the base of the basket/head! I emailed the seller for the mm measurement for this band and it is 1mm. You’d just want to make sure the end that meets the Prong head doesn’t jut out past it πŸ™‚ if that does happen this band may be better:

a jewler would be able to help you measure And even custom make one to your rings specs!

sundevil17:  I have a rose gold band and platinum prongs for that reason.

sundevil17: great point to bring up!! I checked with several jewlers about the log time durability of rose gold as well! I was stressed and worried about that, as I knew nothi about rose gold other than how much I loved it πŸ™‚ There response made me feel great about the choice we made. As with all pave and prong settings, you want to exercise reasonable caution no matter the metal. Rosegold is softer than white and yellow gold (white is the strongest but most maintenance) but should also not have any problem standing the test of time- then one particular jeweler reminded me of all the estate and antique rose gold rings from the late 1800s-1930s. Still beautiful an going strong πŸ™‚ I had a great time looking through is case of them. Gemstones and diamonds in rose gold…I was drooling πŸ˜‰

OP, I agree with you on the fluidity! I recommend just doing some research and purchasing your hearts desire after you’ve digested what you’ve found πŸ™‚
