WHAT??! Good lord, yes, please do take it to another jeweler! Thats ridiculous!

That stinks 🙁 I would definitely say something to that jeweler so that you don’t need to take it somewhere else and pay for it again to be fixed. They need to either give you your money back for the repair, or fix it the right way.

When I got my wedding band resized, I put it on in the store and it fit right so I put it in the box to take home. I get in the car and look at it closer and they had turned it into a “knife edge” band which I totally did not ask for, nor do I understand why they would assume they should make it one. I took it back and made them fix it right away.

Take it back and make them fix it and if you’re unhappy talk to a manager or take it even higher if necessary. Sometimes the people they use to resize dont actually work for the company, they pay someone else to fix it, so it may not be their fault. I know I got my ring re-sized like 3 times over a year and the second time it came back and the band was super thin on the bottom, and there was a chip on the side that scratched up the inside of my other finger. I took it back and they sent it to another company and it came back MUCH better 🙂

Sometimes I think they forget how personable the rings are and get more into the  business side – they just wanna sell the rings and make their quotas, etc.
