Hello bees! This is my first post, so I’m a little nervous, but here goes.
I bought my dress Allure 8858 in ivory and have my first fitting scheduled next week, but I can’t decide what kind of veil or jewelry to wear. I would rather wear gorgeous earrings and a bracelet, than a necklace. I also plan on wearing my hair in a low side updo, if that helps.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!!

I would go for the earrings and bracelet like you said you would want. As for veil i think a traditional elbow length veil would look great 🙂

Beautiful dress! I agree that earrings and a bracelet are the way to go. Regarding a veil, I am a strong advocate of a very sheer, unfinished-edge cathedral length veil. They are gorgeous!

I would love to see your dress!! I am thinking about buying this dress, but would like to see it on a bride. If you can share some of your wedding pics with the dress on that would be great too.

Definitely skip the necklace. It’d look fine, but necklaces often seem “take it or leave it” considering how much else is going on. Earrings and bracelet sound awesome. And I second the elbow veil. 2-tier, plain edge. The detailing on the dress is gorgeous, and doesn’t need anything competing with it. 🙂

Should I go with pearls or sparkle?? I can’t decide.
idea pictures welcome 🙂

I would also suggest an elbow length veil…the dress is beautiful!! Like you said…earrings & bracelet!!

What about this swarovski pearl and crystal set? I bought my jewelry from the same etsy seller and it can be done in white or ivory. she was great to work with! the jewelry is even better in person!

Could you PM me about how much you paid for your 8858? I was told it was nearly $2500! Is this true? I desperately want to try on this dress.

The 8858 is right around 1000.. definitely not 2500!

I would say drop earrings are a must. I honestly like the idea of a necklace, but if you don’t want one just go for the earrings/bracelet combo. IMO bling over pearls. I would go with something like these for the earrings:
and maybe this for the bracelet:
