A lot of stores tell you what they have is “everything.” I heard that a lot myself, and it’s pure BS. I don’t know, but I guess they think this line works on some people.

I just wouldn’t go back.  Times are tough right now and I’d hate to be responsible for someone losing their job in this economy.  Her supervisor will notice sooner or later that she’s not doing her job very well.

@Hyperventilate:  +1. This is exactly what I would do. Honestly, any associate that rude is going to just dish it right back when you march back and show her that 1mm bands do exist and you’ll just end up more infuriated. There’s no point in letting someone like this cloud what would otherwise be a wonderful, fun experience. Write your angry review (a lot of people do read these – at least in my area) and move on.

I would just let it go.  Maybe the sales person was having a bad day.  I once yelled at a government client not because of anything he did but because my father was very, very sick and I broke emotionally.  You never know what someone else is going through in their own life.

Trying to revenge a bad shopping experience is not worth this much of your time and effort.  Save your ire for something worth it.

I agree with Pinkshoes and others. At this point, why give her more of your time? Buy your ring somewhere else with better service.

I would have said something to her right then, but I definitely think the manager should know
