twinkly studs (genstone or cut metal – wearer’s choice), simple everyday pendant, everyday studs, twinkly pendant, eternity style ring, cocktail ring.

    Those are key pieces imo.

I have a diamond pendant and a diamond bracelet that Fiance bought that I wear almost daily.  A VERY simple, very inexpensive stainless steel engraved RHR, and a hoop that I wear in my ear.

I’m terrible about jewelry, so the only thing I really need is a pair of cheap hoop earrings from Claire’s if I’m going out lol.  Otherwise, I never take off my engagement ring, and I’m considering a wedding band, but those would be the only items that I would wear daily.

You should definitely add a strand of pearls necklace to the poll! That says “classic” more than any piece of jewelry I can think of.

    My most versatile pieces include:

-a heart-shaped, yellow gold and mother of pearl locket (always on a yellow gold chain)
-a three-strand keshi pearl necklace (I also have a more classic, single-strand necklace with round pearls, but I seldom wear it because its clasp is a pain to deal with)
    -pink pearl studs
-a small pair of diamond studs (3/8 TCW)
-yellow gold ball studs (since I got a second set of piercings last Wednesday, these will be in for a while)
-yellow gold hoop earrings (one fairly typically sized pair, one larger pair for when I want to make a statement)
-pentagonal yellow gold earrings (these get worn very frequently)
-a pale blue star sapphire RHR in yellow gold

@Arshim:  MY DBTY (well, not mine, but this is what it looks like :))

I have worn it every day since I got it!! I also have pearl studs and tiny diamond studs from Adiamor but I prefer to switch my earrings out every day and leave this one necklace on consistently. It’s silver so nothing will happen to it, eg., in the shower! I detest watches on myself (too heavy) and I think I own one bracelet. 😉

    Good thread!
