I have very little time left until my bridal shoot and my wedding! I finally have my dress, but now it’s time to accessorize. I want to keep it classy and simple and just do some statement earrings, but not sure if I should go for big and simple or more complex designs. Here is a photo of my dress:
I will have my hair up. Here’s the earring contenders so far:
2. Double teardrop
3. small teardrop (concerned these will be too small… i wanted 2 inches but these are less than 1 1/2 in)
4. Vintage Style
5. Teardrop within a teardrop
6. Other… please specify! Looking to spend under $70, sparkly and around 2 in length.
THANK YOOOOOUUUUUUU LOVELIES! Happy Sunday Funday!

Gosh, this is tough, but I’m thinking #5! But, I love them all!!

I like the vintage style ones. I almost bought something very similar!

I’ve always loved teardrop earrings, go for the small ones!

I’d go with the pair that compliments your sash the best. Do you have a close up pic of the sash/belt?

I think the vintage style goes with the pattern on your belt the best.

What are you doing with your hair?
They are all beautiful but I vote for the vintage ones.

here is a close up of the “belt”, although it’s actually beading sewn onto the dress!
all of the earrings are $40-50, except the small teardrop, that one is $68 surprisingly.
I’m doing a fairly simple updo with some volume on top, maybe like this?

I like #1 or #4. #1 is probably my favorite. I think since you aren’t doing a necklace, you should go all out on the earrings and have something a little more intricate 🙂 I think they really compliment the beading on your dress too.

@xlittlemissbridex: my thinking too! I don’t want all my jewelry to compete because I love statement pieces. Solution- no necklace and some WOW BLINGIN’ earrings!!!
plus I have been seeing a major trend with strapless dresses- no necklace and big bold earrings.

Love #5! They have a lot of drama but don’t look too over-the-top or heavy.

the ‘peacock’ earrings are gorgeous and would look beautiful. no matter what you pick though, they would all look great!

@AliveWithLove: Thanks for posting a close up of the beading. I would have to go with the last pair, since the beading has a “tear drop” appearance too. I’m a matchy-matchy kind of gal. But, choose what you like best!!

I love the peacock pair… I didn’t pick them right away, concerned they would be too much… But without a necklace – I think they are perfect 🙂
