Jewelry store did not give me the ring I wanted, not sure how to proceed. Help!

wrongsizewrongwidth :  what does your paperwork say? if it says a 3mm band for $X price, then you expect to have a FINISHED SIZE of 3mm…not 2.5mm, not 2.7mm, etc. 3mm!!! you’ve clearly not gotten what you’ve paid for.

wrongsizewrongwidth :  get a refund and go somewhere else. It’s crazy that they upped the size giving you. $400+ upgrade and then you had a difference to pay. This place sounds really screwy I’d be skeptical as to whether they even gave you a real moissanite. Personally after dealing with a crappy jeweler I’d never go anywhere but David Klass again. He’s probably withing your price range and will give you exactly what you want and fairly quickly. Get your money back asap.

This is all so frustrating, I’m sorry you’re going through this! They’ve broken your trust since they gave you the wrong center stone (a whole carat difference), a band with dents in it, and the wrong band width–and instead of owning up to any mistakes, they tried to insist everything was correct. Since they haven’t done a good job up until this point, I wouldn’t go with them or trust that they’ll fix their mistakes. 

I would insist for the refund and find someone who is reputable and will do a good job.

I think you should list everything that has happened and demand a full refund because you don’t trust them to do things properly.  Mention the dents, poor quality control (band measured at 2.7mm, etc) and if they balk at doing that, tell them you will be writing bad reviews and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
