I’m having a really difficult time deciding on the jewelry I want to wear on my wedding day, and was hoping you all might be able to help me make up my mind. As part of my gift to my bridesmaids, I was planning on getting them pearl necklaces to wear on the big day, and want to make my jewelry a little different. Last night was thinking that it might be a neat idea to match my jewelry and shoes to their dresses. Thoughts? I’m planning on having them in a color similar to David’s Bridal “Peacock” http://www.davidsbridal.com/Browse_Bridal-Party-Bridesmaids-Shop-By-Color?&colorName=Peacock
Here’s my dress for reference.
My mom has a string of gray pearls that she has had FOREVER and never wears, and it might be a nice “something borrowed” for my special day. It’s just a single strand, similar in color to the one shown here.
My ears are stretched, and I found a pair of really pretty flower plugs that might go well: http://www.etsy.com/listing/87478738/flower-plugs-purple-roses-pick-your-size
I like the idea of trying to incorporate my bridesmaids colors into my accessories, but I’m worried that it might not be formal enough to match my dress.
What do you all think? Have any of you done something like this? If so, I’d love to see pics!
