I am at a loss for what jewelry to wear with my dress. Chandelier bridal earrings or a pearl necklace or simple pearl studs or simple solitaire diamond necklace? Help! Also my fiancé said a while back he doesn’t like strapless dresses. I’m only two weeks out from wedding but anxious about my decision on dress. What do you think of it? Too strapless? Honest opinions won’t hurt my feelings! Thank you so much! Also last but not least! I can’t decide on hair. I’m just thinking simple curls but all down! Thank you so much for your help

I think a simple solitaire diamond necklace if you are going to do a necklace. I don’t think pearls would work, you’ve already got lace and some sparkle so adding in pearl might overcomplicate things. If no necklace then go the chandelier earrings.
For hair – are you wearing a veil? If not then loose curls would be lovely! With a veil you might want to consider a loose half up half down to create a perch for the veil.
And as for FH saying he doesn’t like strapless – I’m sure any thought like that will fly right out of his mind when he sees you walking down the aisle in a dress you love!

I think chandelier earrings would look good too. But just want to say that you look beautiful and your husband will not be disappointed! What has he got against strapless dresses anyway?

Dec14girl :
How nice you look! I agree, simple drop crystal earrings and matching necklace , nothing too tizzy or elaborate. A plain single layer cathedral length veil, worn from the crown of the head perhaps from a narrow crystal band .
Your hair is so beautiful, l think down and slightly curled/ waved would show it best. It and the veil would mitigate the shoulder bareness that strapless dresses have. That might please your fi too, tho l with pp that once he sees you for the first time he will forget any dislike he had of the style.

Thank you everyone for your extremely helpful replies!! My other idea is to add a wedding topper or bolero? Is that overkill for this dress or do you think it could be nice?

Dec14girl : With the detail of the top of your dress, a bolero or topper won’t look quite right. You chose your strapless dress, now rock it. Pick out a veil and choose some pretty drop or chandelier earrings to wear with it.

I would do chandelier earrings and no necklacke OR simple drop earrings & matching necklace. No pearls. No bolero. Hair down in soft waves. You look beautiful. 🙂

A pair of amazing chandelier earrings would be perfect. I think keep your hair down. It suits you. The bridal top has a place, not to placate your partner but to give you a little extra coverage if YOU feel more comfortable with it. But you look truly excellent in a strapless style

Just wanted to say that you look stunning in that dress, the strapless neckline is very flattering imo, so wear it with confidence! In the end, all grooms think their brides are beautiful and rarely even remember what they may or may not have preferred before the wedding day.
