I know there have been lots of similar requests recently, but I could really use your help and advice. Please take a look at my dress and suggest jewelry and possible hair styles. FYI, my hair is just past my collarbone and is fairly fine.
Here’s the dress: http://www.jimhjelmbridal.com/jim_br/display_dress.php?imageno=8800&multimatch=x

First, beautiful dress! There are several options for this dress … let’s see what I can come up with.
For jewelry you could do a long necklace, or a choker. If you went with a longer necklace, I would make it more simple, so that it doesn’t overwhelm the lace detail. A medium length necklace with a simple drop would work well. If you went with a choker, you could do something a little more elaborate, like the model. The crystal and beading is beautiful. For earrings you could do something big and dramatic, a simple drop, or a nice stud. It depends on your necklace and hair choice.
Your hair you could likewise do up or down. I would aim for a classic look. Since your hair is fine, you might want to do something up. Volumizing mousse or gel can let you do pretty much anything, as long as it’s tightly secured. If you’re worried about having it look like there’s enough there, a hair flower or fascinator will add a lot to your look.
One of the best ways to get ideas, especially for hair, is to look through magazines for dresses with similar necklines and see what they’ve done with the models. I know not many of us could ever look like models, but it’s still good inspiration.

Love, love, love your dress! I think the whole world is open to you with this one. You could go long or short with a necklace and you could do your hair up or down. What is the ambiance of your wedding? Are you more of a make-up and glamour girl or are you straightforward and simple?
If I was wearing this dress, I’d probably wear a relatively short necklace with a little pop to it, and hair mostly down and romantic with some prominent earrings (though I don’t have pierced ears!), but again you won’t go wrong no matter what you decide, so just do what you love!
Might I suggest a mantilla veil? I can’t think of a better dress for one.

I love your dress! I would probably do my hair up and a little loose/romantic with short but bold earrings. Maybe something like this: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_gallery_19&listing_id=17723904
But as PP’s have said, there are a ton of things you can do! I think with all of the lace, it might be nice to go with simple jewelry and let the dress really speak for itself. It is beautiful! And as the last poster said, you might be more comfortable with your hair up if its super fine. That was it looks great all night!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. So many great ideas!
doctorgirl: I hadn’t thought of doing a mantilla veil, but now I want to try one on. To answer your question about ambiance… It’s an outdoor/garden ceremony, so I’m leaning more casual in the overall feeling.
I think I’ll skip a necklace, and just do earings. I’ll wait until after my hair trial to make a final decision… then I’ll know if wearing my hair down is even an option.
Again, thanks everyone!

Since you have fine hair, I would probably go up because it will stay the best. My hair is like that and it’s what worked out best for me. For your hair, it depends on the style of your wedding. But, you said you want a casual outdoor feeling so you could go classic like THIS, THIS, THIS, or THIS.
Or a little messy like THIS, THIS, or THIS.

Oh wait here’s a few more HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE. Love some of these!
For the jewelry I would go for some larger earrings like the model has in the photo, a bracelet, but probably no necklace.

It really depends what you like as jewelry. Though, I personally would go with a long necklace. I have a model that you might like. Just email me:
