My fiance and I are interested in doing a jewish registry so that we can get Judaica for our home… however, we really wanted to do some kind of charity thing as well, and I had heard of thi site – judaism.com, that does a Tzedakah program but it doesn’t seem to be working well (apparently only if you live in PA you can do it!). Does anyone know of any Jewish registries with a charity program??? Are any of you lovely brides thinking of doing this too???

Sorry I can’t help, but I think that’s an awesome idea!
I think I just expected guests to get us some Judaica just b/c my husband and I are both Jewish so a lot of our friends and family are too. But we didn’t get anything, and I’m kind of sad about it.

we registered on Judaism.com and everything was lovely – came gift wrapped with a hand written note.
However, we had a wedding charity and I’m not in PA anymore (but I am from there, been to pinskers loads of times).
Had a good experience with the registry – hope that’s somewhat helpful!

So when you did the registry on the website, the charity was a PA charity only? You couldn’t choose your own and have it be anywhere in the US?
