So I just did my first day of the 30 day shred. Except I did extra cardio during her ab portions because I really love the p90x ab ripper, so I did that right after. I am not in shape enough to do the other p90x workouts though. Anyway, I am already sore. Walking up the 4 stairs to my room and I can feel that very top part of the thigh (I swear, that is always more sore than the abs when I do ab workouts… I’m I doing something wrong?) Anyway, FI and FSIL were laughing at me (nicely) but they will be sorry when I have a sexy six-pack to show off! I am going to be hurting tomorrow though.
Question for you shredders; how much weight do you use? With my dumbbells, I could either do 5 lb or 15lb. I did the 5, but I wonder if that is too light, as my arms are used to more. The 15 was too much though. I love toned and muscular arms (think Jessica Beil, especially in Blade) so I don’t want to underwork the arms.
