Hahaha, I tried 30 Day Shred back in July and ended up lying on the floor sobbing from frustration. I’m nervous to try again when I’ve only lost 20 lb, but I’m DYING to see if I can do better. I’m sure I won’t, lol.

i honestly dont think level one is that bad.. aside from the arm raises with those side lunges.. after like ten.. i want to die.. i have the weakest little rubber bands for arms.. but i wish the cardio was a little more intense.. i have been pairing it with running3-4 miles every other day and on my days off doing jillians thirty day shred.. the 20 minutes is nothing once your done.. but while you’re doing it.. its something alright.

I knew I wasn’t in the best shape, so I expected to have my tail kicked at first.

One thing I didn’t expect: my lack of flexibility.  At the end, when you have to clasp your hands behind your back and lift your arms, I can’t keep my back straight up!  I feel like an old lady!

@Take The Reins:  yea dont feel bad im only using three pound weights.. i think my running uphill has helped my core strength because the abbs have gotten WAY easier.. but i am really hoping her dvd will help with just my arms.. i mean.. i cant find any workouts for upper body that i actually enjoy.. im more of a cardio junky.. god knows we all need to sculpt though.. how else will we have sexy bridal arms hahahah

I feel your pain! That workout is very tough. I did it last year for a few weeks and then slacked off. I’m dreading starting back up.

Way to go, everybody!

I’ve been mixing 30 Day Shred, with No More Trouble Zones & Ripped in 30 workouts. (Plus yoga and extra cardio if I have time). I get super bored quickly so I am hoping by mixing it up I won’t fall off the wagon. 

Has anybody here ever finished the shred? What can I expect?! 🙂

I did 30 Day Shred on Monday and I meant to do it again yesterday but I was in too much pain. Damn you Jillian!!

Haha a friend and I did Jillian for a while last year, oh my gosh it HURT.  I remember when i first started I wass sore for at least a week… my back was even sore, what the heck haha.  My friend and I used to yell at jillian during it all the time.  I should pick it up again.
