@morkiemama: How many lbs hand weights are you using? Maybe you need to lighten up a bit until the soreness goes away. I don’t have killer buns and thighs but would love to hear how you liked them. Alternating her DVDs is a great idea to prevent boredom.

You should try her 6 week 6 pack. Laying to standing positions could just not happen after a day (yes, seriously!).

I love her dvds and have seen success from them, Ripped in 30 is my favorite so far!

I’ve been doing the 30 DS level 2- Not noticing the scale move at all (stoooopid holidays) but I think I’m definitely toning up my thighs and that oh-so-wonderful muffin top (*tear*). And, I love that it’s a very compact workout, for only being 20 mins long. It really leaves me with no excuses, which is something I desperately need….

I have one of her Wii fit games and I don’t really care for it. I need to get some videos though. I want to start doing a little bit every day, I definitely need to get toned up and lose my muffin top!

I’m so glad I saw this post. I started the 30 Day shred two nights ago. I’m mixing it in with other workouts, so I’m not doing it every day, but am aiming for doing one of her workouts 4-5 days a week. I’m still sore from 2 nights ago and last night I just rested. Her workouts really are hard core. My husband and Brother-In-Law are super strong and super athletic and it kicked both their butts!

I’m going to order another DVD of hers to have another one to mix it up with.

Debating between 6 Week 6 Pack and Ripped in 30. Which would you buy?

I don’t have 6 Week 6 Pack but Ripped in 30 is great…it has 4 workouts and they are tough! Definitely a step up from the Shred. I would suggest also looking into No More Trouble Zones, especially if you’re starting 30 Day Shred. It’s a longer workout, 45 min with combination strength/core moves and it’s an awesome DVD to alternate with the Shred. It’s one of my favorites.

I just finished Day 9! Normally I have no trouble losing just by watching my diet but I have been at that for months and the scale is just not budging. Since I started again I have lost maybe… 1lb? But I notice my shoulders are getting more toned and I like that. I would much much much rather lose inches and tighten up than see the number on the scale go down considering how close the day is for me.

I just ordered 30 day shred on Amazon. New Years resolution: stick with it for all 30 days!

Right now Costco has great price on Jillian DVDs, $7 with change, I forgot the exact price. That is the best retail price I’ve seen in stores! I know they had 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, Killer buns & thighs, and 6 Week 6 Pack. I picked up the 6 Week 6 Pack and I’m hoping to start incorporating it into my workouts next week.

I have her No More Trouble Zones and started it last year and then it got pushed to the side. I am determined in the New Year to mix it in on the days I don’t run. Gotta do something to improve my upper body. I just remember that I swear at Jillian a lot when I do her DVDs…

I have lost 60lbs in the past year and 2 months with her DVDs. I have 30 day shred, buns and thighs, extreme shed and shred, 6 week 6 pack, kickboxing, yoga meltdown, killer abs, and ripped in 30. I do one total body work out and then one area specific workout (buns/thighs or abs) a day in the morning. I change it each day so it’s not the same. I drink a whey protein shake after work out and eat healthy all day. Good luck!!
