I did it as directed a while back but to be honest, I didn’t notice any changes at all.  I know that I too carry a lot of water so I was expecting to see something dramatic.  I didn’t but that doesn’t mean you won’t.  I have been thinking about trying it again because I bought all those tea bags!  HA!  Good luck and let us know if it works for you!

It’s a diuretic.  The best thing you can do to shift fluid is to do it naturally.  Vistagirl has it right.  Salt will pull water into the body.  Products like these teas pull water out of the body.  They recommend only a limited amount of time because you can eventually dehydrate your cells with enough diuretic.

I would try cutting down on the salt first before going to even a natural diuretic.

Diuretics help get rid of excess water but they can also deplete your body of potassium, that could be why the package says to take a break. Too low potassium can cause calf cramps.  Could be helpful to eat a banana a day.  I take a prescription medication for excess water and I have to take potassium supplements to keep everything balanced.
