I finally got my dress in a day or two ago–so excited! It even fits perfectly! I ordered the dress from Wendy, at Ieie bridal (http://www.etsy.com/shop/ieie, http://www.ieieshop.com/?p=77).
I had done a lot of research on where to get a good replica made, and had originally ordered with Jeff Liu because of all the good reviews on WB and other sites, but he told me (after I’d payed/ordered and assured me he could get the lace/colors I wanted) that he in fact could not a lace I liked. He promptly refunded my money, so no harm done.
The dress I want is here (I would post pics here, but the website isnt working right now): http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Blush/Bridal/Fall/2010/Style-1057
Wendy did cost more than it would have cost ordering from China, but I think she did a great job, and in the end, I still saved a TON of money (my dress cost $424 with shipping).
Here are pics of my dress (from a crappy phone)

YAY!!!! It looks beautiful, and is a great style for you! Had you tried the Jim Hjelm on in store before having her make this dress for you?? Where is she located??

Yes, I tried on the dress in a boutique, but couldnt justify spending nearly $2,000 for it. I couldnt take pictures of me in it, though, as the boutique (most boutiques from what I’ve heard) wont let you take pics of it.
Wendy’s located in New Jersey.
