@laurelewrigley:  Yeah, sometimes blush can be a little faint, depending on designer.  What other colors have you been thinking of?

@laurelewrigley:  That’s gorgeous! What about more peach shaded blush dresses? Actually, I love ivory Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses as well, so either way would be lovely!! 😀

@laurelewrigley:  Haha, yeah, you’re right, it is very elusive.  So difficult to find the right shade!  Best of luck to you on your hunt!

“Blush” means something different to each designer.

I chose blush as my main wedding color and immediately ran into problems when choosing bridesmaid dresses.  Every designer has a different idea of what blush is.  And even within the same designer’s line, blush is a different color depending on the fabric!!

Jim Hjelm’s blush is a very light pink color.  If you’re looking for more of a nude color, try Jenny Yoo or Amsale.  If want you really want is peach, then don’t look at blush swatches at all.  Blush is almost always pink or nude.

Peach is kind of a hard color to find too.  The first step would be going to a big bridesmaid salon that carries many different lines (Hitched, Bella Bridesmaid, etc).  Before even looking at dress styles, just ask to see the designer’s swatches.  Pick the color you want in the fabric you want, and then choose a style dress.  That’s the easiest thing to do when you have your heart set on one particular color.
