Hello!
I’m going to get Jimmy Choos for my wedding as my present from my grandmother. SO excited as other than these we’re working to a tight budget! However, there aren’t any stores near me (400 miles away is the nearest) who stock Jimmy Choo.
I’m wondering what the glitter fabric shoes (for example
http://eu.jimmychoo.com/sandals/clue/invt/247cluegfa/ ) look like in real life? I want a pale golden shoe (like the ‘gold’ colour in the clue shoes I linked to), but sometimes on the website the same gold on other shoes looks too dark for me, and sometimes the champagne looks perfect and sometimes silver.
Do any of you wonderful bees have pictures of the gold or champagne glitter fabric ‘in real life’ and not taken under studio lights or photoshopped?
Sorry if it’s been asked before, I can’t find anything in the search. Thanks so much bees!

I bought the flat (Finlay) ones in champagne for my wedding, as well as the matching purse. I just love them! But the glitter fabric is a bit delicate so you do not want to rub them too much (not that you would, really). The champagne is definately more silver than gold. If you look closely, you can see a bit of a gold thread going through the fabric, but from a distance, they come accross as silver. I don’t have a real life picture with me at work, but I can take a picture of them when I get home tonight and upload it for you.

Oh one other thing if you are ordering online – a lot of websites tell you that Jimmy Choo fits small so to order up. For me though, it is the opposite. I had to return my size nines that I originally bought and get a size 8.5. For reference, I am normally a size 9 unless it is a brand that fits big, like at Nine West where I am also a 8.5. Anyways, just thought I would add that..

As above; the champagne is basically a silver colour (I have the Isobel shoes in champagne and it’s a silver colour). If you want gold, order gold; it’s a true gold colour. Also agree with the comments re fit; on average I’m a UK6, in JC I’m a UK 5.5-6; so def don’t order up a size, consider odering down a 1/2 size

Thanks so much! So I’m totally off the champagne now thanks, can I ask how gold is gold? I like the pale gold of that pic but some pics of other shoes that are meant to be the same material make it look really dark. The underside of my dress is a pale gold (sottero and midgley ‘champagne mist’) so I want it to match.

I have the champagne Logan D’orsays from Saks. They are definitely a little more silver than gold and would definitely agree on sizing. I typically am a size 6 and had to get the 5.5.

Oh I should clarify I’m only off the gold for my outfit, if I was getting more than one pair I’d be all over the champagne ones!

@mink:
thanks for the pics! The bottom gold ones are just perfect 🙂 I will take note on the sizing, I was debating between 37 and 37.5, will definitely go 37.

@barbie86: I’m thinking of buying JCs for my wedding in August. Are they comfortable for a wedding?!
