I’m on week 4 of couch to 5k. I’ve been doing between 3-5 days a week for each “week” just kind of got into the groove the first two weeks. I ended taking a week off (for honeymoon) and then repeating 2 days of week 3 and starting week 4 a day earlier than I originally planned.I’m actually about to hit the gym (as soon as I type this up I’m changing and headed out the door).

I also alternate days of upper body and lower body weights and do crunches and planks every day I run. I’m not doing it to lose weight, just to get into running and be healthier.

Signed up for two 5k’s in May (Fiesta of Five Flags 5k and Color Run) and doing it with Darling Husband, a friend, and my cousin. My cousin and I have been texting eachother after every workout as a motivation.

I plan on starting Couch to 5K in a few weeks, as soon as it gets a little warmer here – I can’t run in the cold! I signed up for the Color Run in Sept and really hate running, but it seemed like so much fun! I am also doing the Hundred Pushup Training Program – I am wearing a strapless dress and really want to get my arms in shape! In addition, I’ve been doing at least 1 class a day at the gym, most days two. I joined MFP to help keep my motivated.

I lost 4 pounds on week 1 of Rushfit. It’s an intense 6 day/week schedule for the beginner work out. 45-60 mins/day. It mixes up work out and cardio days.

I’m absolutely loving it so far. 7 more weeks to go!

I joined the Running Room after the new year and completed my first clinic yesterday. I’m doing my first 5k run this Sunday! I started a 10k clinic last week with my 10k run in May.

Woowoo! I WILL have a bikini ready butt in time for my honeymoon!

I suggest ripped in 30 after the shred.  I just started week 2 of ripped and it totally kicked my butt last night.

@Cassiopeia:  Thanks! Any run that ends with a beer is good by me 🙂

@Cassiopeia:  I’m on day 6 of the shred, I’m starting the couch25k with my mother next week and I’m also on week 4 of the hundred push up challenge. I plan to do insanity after I’m done the shred and I’d like to keep running throughout the summer. I could definitely use a buddy to keep me motivated and accountable.

I’m pretty excited about the color run even though I don’t like to run. I also don’t like running in the heat, but its still pretty cold here, most days in the 30’s I’m just waiting for like 45-50 degree days. My gym only offers classes and they are so much fun! I take spin, barre, circuit training classes and boot camps – some are more intense than others, but always a great workout! Yesterday was only my first day of push-ups and today my arms are sore! I did the initial test, so they had me start on week 3, which means I did 78 push-ups within 5 minutes!
