YES SEND IT NOW!!! Even if she doesn’t read it for a week (which I kinda doubt anyway — people are always checking), she’ll see that you sent it right away. 

As someone who has interviewed a lot of people, SEND IT, send it, send it!!!!!

Also, I would call the secretary and ask her if she can give you your interviewer’s email address so you can email her directly — it shows smarts and initiative. Or try googling it — usually people’s work email addresses are listed on the company website. I would only ask the secretary to forward it as a last resort.

Absolutely.  You should always follow up with a thank you e-mail.

I always send my thank yous right away…and I think most employers prefer e-mails now as they can get them right away.
