I know how you feel!  I’m trying to find a job now (not my first job after undergrad but first in grad school).  Are you two completely against moving?  If not, I would look a little further away, depending on what your job would be.

I’m sure you’ll be fine girl! But that is good that you’re taking this so serious, because it IS your life!!! Your career is like your home sometimes!

I’m positive that with all of the things you’re doing to prepare for it & how serious you’re taking it, everything will go smoothly. Congrats on this being your last semester and GOOD LUCK!!

Yeah, I understand the moving thing.  We had to move across the country for my husband to find a job after graduation which is why I don’t have a job right now.  And I can’t wait to find a job so I’m not a broke grad student!

Haha I know!  I wish I could change my username!  But then I would have to go and post a lot to get my Honey Bee status back.  I have an interview next month (plus the school has a job fair too so I’m definetly going there too!)

You’re welcome girl!! I am still in college (unfortunately) & keep taking semesters off ๐Ÿ™ Ergh..I’ve got to just put my mind to it. I’m just one of those kids that just don’t put my mind to it. So I think that’s so awesome you’re keepin’ to it!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. My friend is amazing and the smartest girl I know, but because the job market is so bad, she’s had a really rough time and blames herself. Just remember, if things don’t work out how you imagined them too, you have lots of time to make it up. This economy is rough no matter who you are and how talented you are. Just keep a positive attitude, because things may make you question yourself. DON’T. You’re fabulous. Its not you if jobs don’t pan out right away. Just be a bit realistic and you’ll do fine. Sorry if this seems like a downer post, but I just don’t want you to think something is wrong with you if things don’t work out right away.

Yes there was a tornado here.  I was at school at the time and we were just hanging out.  The tornado was closer to where school is than my house but it seems like there was only minor damage to houses.  Power went out for about 10,000 people but not for us.

I’m hoping to find something outside of public accounting which is a little more different than the one I had before.  But still hopefully can find something soon!

Keep looking,e ven at the most unconventional places! What are you qualified to do?

Worst case scenario…grad school! And it’s not like that’s a bad thing!
