Thank you, I’m hoping it will show employers I’m serious about stying in the area since my ties here are limited. I practiced in IL for 11 months in litigation, but I’m open to other areas, except patent law (not qualified) or criminal law (not interested).
I agree with mousegirl, only you can make that call based on your finances and goals and you’ll have to decide which one is more important at the moment, but at least it sounds like you have options 🙂
I would be inclined to quit the part time job. It sounds like it would open you up to more opportunity at finding permanent employment, which I assume is your end goal. I might feel differently if the girl was young, but at 14 she probably won’t need a sitter much longer.
