We’re having a destination wedding, it will be very small (20-30 people including us and the bridal party) and outside on a beach.
I have 2 bridesmaids, my sister and my Future Sister-In-Law.
He has 2-3 groomsmen (depending on when one’s wife gets pregnant).
I have 3 kids that I need “jobs” for, 2 girls (12 & 13 years old) and 1 boy (9 years old). One of the girls is another Future Sister-In-Law, and the other girl and boy are my neice and nephew.
I don’t really want them to be “jr bridesmaids/groomsmen”.
I’m considering having one of my dogs be the “ringbearer”, so if I do that, I figure one of the kids can walk the dog down the aisle, that would probably be the boy.
What job possibilities are there for the girls?
Or for the boy if he’s not the ringbearer-escort?

The girls could be in charge of handing out birdseed/bubbles/whatever people are going to toss at you as you’re leaving the ceremony (if you’re doing that). And the little boy could hand out your programs before the ceremony (if you’re doing that as well).
Just giving each of the a little job will be a huge responsibility to them. They’ll love anything you ask them to do, I’m sure!

I am having two girls of a similar age pass out the programs. You can also have guest book attendents= I was one when i was like 7. Basically you just stand there and encourage people to sign the guest book. You could also have the roll out to aisle if you have one.

I say definitely the guest book, passing out programs. Another idea is maybe once the mothers and grandmothers are seated, they could walk down the aisle and bring them flowers or a wrist corsage, that way everyone sees it. I saw that at a wedding once and it was really sweet.

I have 4 little cousins (my cousins’ children) that I had to find jobs for ages 4, 6, 7, and 9 (by the time of the wedding). I asked the oldest to be my flower girl (since she’s my “go-to girl”), and so the rest didn’t feel left out, the rest will hand out bubbles. They’re more than excited! That’s a great idea to have them hand out programs and do the guest book though!
