i don’t want people saying your BMs etc are supposed to sort this out for you because they’re not.
we decided that we would organize a joint bachelor and bachelorette party, we had decided on organizing a meal (which our younger bridesmaids can still join in, both 18) and then go on to a pub crawl because night clubs aren’t my thing.
i then thought we could have a joint party with food and drinks. drinking, girl vs boys trivia etc so, that all wedding party could join in the whole thing and not have to leave half way.
if you were having a joint bachelor and bachelorette what would you do?

Exactly what you are doing! I think trivia/drinking games girls vs guys is a great fun idea and the dinner is nice so everyone can attend! Throw in a bonfire and I’d be there!

This isn’t the plan, but if we HAD to combine parties this is most likely what would happen:
There is a strip club in Toronto (where Fiance and I live) that has male strippers on one side of the building and a seperate female side on the other. Fiance and I would probably round people up and go there after we had a dinner with everyone who attended. This probably wouldn’t work well because most of the girls I know (and myself) have zero interest in male strippers, so we would probably end up crashing the guys party haha…
ETA: I like your idea though! The trivia thing soulds fun! I just don’t think I’d be able to round everyone up for that.. They would all be too preoccupied drinking and doing God knows what lol

I think we’re going to have a sort of joint bachelor(ette) party in that it’ll be on the same night in roughly the same place, but I don’t think we’re going to be together for the whole night. We’re going out after our rehearsal dinner in Atlantic City because our bridal parties are from all over the place and it’s the only time we’ll all be in one place. The wedding won’t be until the evening the next day so we’ll have time to recover, but neither of us are big party people. We’ll probably just do some karaoke or something.

I wish Fiance and I had a house where we could do something! We might be doing a joint party since FI’s brother is worthless, but my wonderful Maid/Matron of Honor offered to do something for the both of us. We have FI’s younger brother and sister that we’d like to join us for at least part of it.

@mrstaylortobe: I like your idea. I have ZERO desire to see male strippers and run around getting drunk while wearing plastic penises around my neck. SO is not a drinker and doesn’t enjoy strippers either. So this sounds like a fun idea.

@mrstaylortobe: actually threw a joint party and it was last night! We went to 3D black light mini golf, and I stocked a hotel room at the beach with beer, snacks, games and other fun stuff. We had pizza for dinner and the beer made playing clue really interesting lol.

We had a joint bachelor/bachelorette party and it was a ton of fun. My Maid/Matron of Honor rented out a Whirlyball (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whirlyball) place for an hour so we all met up there and played a few games. Then we parted ways and each group (boys/girls) went to dinner separately. After dinner we regrouped and did some bar hopping and then we ended up at the Clermont Lounge, an Atlanta institution, to end the night.
