My fiance and I like the idea of having one big bachelor/bachelorette party, but are having a hard time coming up with some really fun ideas that don’t involve a lot of travel but also are more than just spending the night bar hopping.
Do you oh-so-creative bees have any ideas? We are very open to lots of different things.

I know, how about a scavenger hunt around the city or town. Guys against girls. U pick what the winners receive. U can do things, like find an old man and rub his head. lol. I read that somewhere on the site and thought it was a super cool idea. Good luck

We both love Dave & Busters, and so do our friends, so we’ll probably spend part of the night there, and have dinner somewhere else. Maybe go to one bar, but not too many.

We’re considering a baseball game I love the scavenger hunt idea though!

We went houseboating. Boys on one boat, girls on another. We did all meals and activities together, and then could have our own parties. It was great!

My Fiance actually threw the idea of having a joint party together. I think during the day we both will be doing our own thinsg with our girls-guys and then everyone might meet up at a nice lounge by the beach. One of my close friends had a joined vegas trip. We didn’t go because we aren’t into those type of bachelor-bachelorette parties, but she said it was a blast and both sides loved it.
The scavenger hunt sounds pretty cool!

I think for my MOH’s wedding in August we’re going to plan a big two night camping trip for the whole wedding party girls in one site and guys in the other. We can have total girl time during the day, and then party around the camp fire at night together! Super fun alternative to regular bacherlor/bachelorette activities I think!

we are doing a joint party. We are going to start at two differnt place, travel by limo together to two different places for dinner (or one large place where we wont see each other), and than join back up at a club in LA for bottle service. We werent going to do it this way at the start but it seems like it will work great.

I agree with Miss D’Orsay, a baseball is way fun!
For my future bro-in-law, we hosted a cookout at our house, and then went to a baseball game for their bachelor+bachelorette parties. Everyone had a blast! We even notified the stadium earlier in the week, so they put the bride and groom’s name on the scoreboard at one point…so cute!

Have you thought of kareoke? It is a fun way you can combine the groups, and still have a little fun competition. There are a lot of kareoke bars that offer private rooms, and have great food. This isn’t the old school college kareoke anymore!
More tame groups can do something fabulous like a wine pairing dinner at a restaurant. I would definitely make sure they have a prix-fix menu and have people pay the Maid/Matron of Honor ahead of time. This way you can spend more time enjoying yourselves, instead of dividing up the bill! Any other questions just ask PinkVeil.
