These are the labels we used!  I think they turned our great!  We used a water resistent labels so they won’t be destroyed in the ice.  Thw label fits just over the black section on the front of the bottle.  Much easier than redoing the entire label 10seconds to attach the label.  We are thinking of starting to sell them.  Let me know if you are interested.

I think this is such a cute idea…does anyone who has done this or has looked into it have an idea of cost?

Hhhhhmmmm, my biggest concern is using the “Jones Soda” logo – isn’t it copyrighted?

Jones Soda actually will do this FOR you – So it seems here that people are trying to do it for less cost (which I totally understand).  With Jones being a great local company here in the Seattle area – I just have to ask, have you actually looked into the company price list yet?  It’s about $30 a case 12-pack , which given the regular case 12-pack price of $18.99 – the cost difference is basically one dollar per bottle for a custom label where you can edit the wording and photo to be whatever you would like.

Although this is out of my price range, I love the idea for wedding favors.

I am buying the customized labels right from the company.  I’m confused why are you making them yourselves?

Oh OK I get it. I am ordering them form the company b/c my wedding is small about 25 people. I am putting them out with the candy buffet.  What are you going to do with the bottles?

I actually created our own personalized JONES-esque labels for our rehearsal dinner favors. I just recreated the label using Illustrator!

And CalBride… as someone who has “heard” from the Jones Soda company, I would highly advise you against trying to sell the labels. 🙂  While I’ve never handed out a template w/text and only did my labels for my own personal use… if you sold them you’re walking into a big ‘ol lawsuit. 🙂

I totally understand the Canadian shopping issue.  If that were the case I’d probably do my own too.  With the recession though I’ve tried hard to stay on budget and still support businesses.  Spread the wealth!

We will be ordering custom Jones for our Out of Town bags because its a Seattle company.  🙂

Why not replace the word “Jones” with you and your FI’s last name (assuming you will be changing it)? Eliminates the iffy-ness of using the logo and adds an extra dimension to the customization. I think it would be so cute!

I would just like to state for the record that Jones Soda is a Canadian company NOT a Seattle based co.
