MrsPuddingface :  Thank you! So glad you had a wonderful appointment. Sounds like you have a great team and a very supportive doctor. Hope your nausea and sickness eases up for you.

candy11 :  Thank you. Have a great day.

banana330 :  Thank you for your great perspective. Sorry about your morning sickness and hope your foot continues to feel better and heal quickly. Have a great day!

hollyberry4 :  Thank you very much for sharing your experience with me again. I appreciate it. We too did not do PGS testing, I think it starts at about $5,000 OOP. Hope you’re feeling well and having a great day!

MrsPuddingface :  YAY! Your doctor sounds wonderful! Sounds like you are in great hands.  Keep growing little Pudding2!  I can’t wait to see your April 13 update.  Sorry about the potty training.  We actually didnt think of potty training until May, when I am going to be out of work, but my Mother-In-Law (who I do love so much) started to get on my case and comparing my kid to his cousin who is a month younger than N and that really got to me.  I know I shouldn’t have, but it did! So I came home, told N he gets two M&Ms everytime he goes and it did the trick. But really I don’t like to push him to do things when he isnt ready.  If the M&Ms would not have worked then I was going to tell Darling Husband to tell his mother to back off.  Thankfully it didn’t get to that point.  Again, so happy for your symptoms and progress.  Praying for a very boring pregnancy.  xoxo

RunnerBride13 :  Congrats, lady!! So happy he’s a good size!

Just popping in to say I’m thinking of you all!  Both babies are thriving–little man is already almost 12lbs and lil girl is almost 11lbs at 2 months old. They love to smile and coo and hold their heads up during tummy time. Hope everyone is doing well and that I’ll hopefully be able to catch up individually soon!

banana330 :  Thank you! 🙂 I cant wait to meet her. I’m glad that the MS is finally letting up a bit, I hope it’s gone all together soon. Holy smokes for being 16 weeks now – your anatomy scan will be here before you know it :). How was your check up for your foot? Are you back at work? I feel you on being overwhelmed with the “To Do List”- we want to sell our house and move to a new neighbourhood before our little one is here. Best of luck with the renos, I would love to see some before & after pics!

MrsPuddingface :  It’s definitely a surreal feeling! How are things going? The symptoms are definitely a great sign. I love how sweet and caring your OBGYN has been, and that the docs at the prenatal clinic have been great too. Just over two weeks until you can see little bean. Sending so much love your way!!!!

hogoboom2012 :  Thanks love! Woot for being in the third tri & passing your GD test! How’ve you been feeling? Has the RLP subsided at all? It sounds just awful :(. Also, hooray for getting started with the nursery! How’s it coming along?

Dreaming13 :  Aww I love the nickname Squirt! That is too cute. So glad your scan last week went well and you got to see a little wriggly bean with an awesome heartbeat!!

MrsR4ever :  Thanks dear! How’s it going with you? How’s the third trimester treating you? Is your little guy getting excited to be a big brother?

hollyberry4 :  How are you liking the doppler? Honestly, it has helped me preserve what little sanity I had left, best purchase ever for us hands down!

happy2bee :  Hey love- how are things? I’m thinking of you. You are getting SO close to viability! Any idea when you’ll be getting the steroid shots? P.S. I’m loving all the pup pictures you’ve been posting lately <3

weightwatchers152 :  Thanks my dear! Happy anatomy scan day, I can’t wait to hear how it went! Sending you so much hugs and good vibes today!

Ham1320 :  Aww yay! What a special update :). I’m glad your two sweetie pies are doing so well mama!

MrsPuddingface :  yes we started using the Doppler! The first time I used it I freaked out beycause it was only like 85bpm… then I realized I was listening to my own pulse haha! When I searched down lower we found her just fine! How are you feeling!? Still vomiting?

MrsMellyBean :  yes we are loving the Doppler! And I’m not as obsessive about it as I feared I would be. Just checking in every few days! Good luck with house searching! We just had closings for selling our house and buying the new house today!! Craziness! I’m glad we will be settled before baby comes though. 🙂

I saw this print in the store today and started tearing up! We bought it to hang in the nursery. Wanted to share! 🙂

I will respond to others more thoroughly soon….

Just updating after my anatomy scan Friday. My ultrasound took about an hour and twenty minutes. My bladder was extremely full and because of previous surgeries and scar tissue, the ultrasound was pretty painful (although I did not let the technician know this; I expected it to be).

At the beginning of the ultrasound, the technician told me, and showed me on the screen, that I was having a contraction. The night before I woke up with one (but did not know what it was as I’ve never been through this before). The technician was not concerned and told me I may notice more of these as I progress through the pregnancy. She said it made my cervix appear longer, so she scanned other areas of my abdomen first.

Nurse and my OB were extremely thorough with intake and history. My OB said baby boy is doing well! He is measuring at 450 grams and doctor thinks baby will be 8lbs. My screening tests for Down Syndrome, etc came back negative so I’m relieved at this point.

I requested a C-Section for various reasons including my physical disability and my OB said no problem. I asked if my cyst could be removed and he said he could, but he may also have to remove my right ovary to control bleeding that may otherwise be worse. He said I will still have the other as well as our remaining frozen embryos. Lots to think about. Back April 13th to get more images of baby’s nose and lips to rule out cleft palate. Baby was very comfortable with his hands in front of his face.

The only thing I’m worried about is my upcoming GD test. I automatically have to do the 2-3 hour one because of my BMI. Hoping that I will not have GD as I do have some family history of it. I guess I should have paid more attention and tried to do the injectables myself last summer. The thought of injecting insulin scares me. Hoping I will not have to.

I will reply more to others soon.

Have a wonderful day, ladies! 🙂

I’m overdue to comment and reply – but I had to pop in and share our pregnancy announcment with you all. I’m so very fortunate to have the support and friendship of many of you here and am truly beyond grateful. We shared this today on social media and I’m over here crying like an emotional pregnant lady for the first time this entire pregnancy. I’m still in shock and denial that we are 19 weeks into this pregnancy and nearly halfway to meeting this miracle.

It has been quite the long and heartbreaking journey for us, but the good and bad – it’s all part of our story. We are so looking forward to the next adventure and are beyond excited to finally announce our little miracle is due this August!

There were many days spent feeling sad, angry, and broken. Why was this our story? Infertility has been physically, emotionally, mentally and financially exhausting. It was a long and often lonely journey with hundreds of shots, countless doctor’s appointments, relentless frustrations and grief beyond measure.

<div class=”text_exposed_show”>

We would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

During the last 3 years, we have been fortunate to have each other. We can’t thank our friends, family and loved ones enough for the incredible and unconditional love you provided us during the difficult times. Yet, the most surprising and wonderful support system has come from those who, just like us, walk the arduous path through their own infertility journey. For our friends still struggling, or those silently reading this who find themselves in a similar place, I hope our story gives you comfort and hope. You are stronger than you know.IMG_20170328_091204_317 copy

I’m not sure where my post went, so I’ll share again. I had written something a little more “deep” thanking you all for being the best support and friends during this difficult time. We finally announced on social media today and I wanted to share. I’m currently sitting on my couch crying like a hormonal pregnant lady for the first time this pregnancy as I watch all of the messages roll in:

I haven’t checked in almost a month :/ working full-time, taking care of a toddler and a very exhausting and tiring pregnancy hasn’t been easy.

hollyberry4 :  What a beautiful announcement!! You’re so strong and brave to share, wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy!! Your baby girl is so lucky to have you as parents 🙂

happy2bee :  I’m so sorry that you’re going through so much stress, I can’t even imagine how you must be feeling. Sending you tons of love and hoping bedrest will help and baby will stay put.

RunnerBride13 :  Congratulations on your healthy and perfect boy! Enjoy motherhood! 🙂

weightwatchers152 :  Congrats on a great anatomy scan! I hope you don’t have GD, try to eat better the day before the test. I have GD and the only difficult/annoying part has been the multiple appointments per week, but controlling my sugar levels with diet and metformin has been relatively easy, no insulin. Good luck!

AFM at my last u/s @ 36w4d baby girl was estimated to be 7 lbs 6 oz already, hoping she’s not that big! I’m 38w1d and induction has been set for 39w, and unless she decides to make an early arrival (fingers crossed she does!) I’ll meet her in 6 days. So excited to meet her soon 🙂
