MrsR4ever :  How are you doing in your pregnancy hun?  You must be close to 30 weeks if not more by now.

View original reply
Ham1320 :  Awww sounds like the babies are doing great!  Good to hear!

MrsMellyBean :  Thanks hun, yes we just got to viability 24 weeks!  And with the steriod shots, apparently they only give them if they think you could deliver in the next 7 days and because they don’t think I’m going to deliver right now we are holding off.

hollyberry4 :  haha yes you have to be careful with that doppler, I watched a few you tube videos to be able to successfully find mine.

hogoboom2012 :  I loved all of your shower pictures and can’t wait to come to baby Boom’s shower in May!

Well we have officially made it to baby viability 24 weeks WHOHOO!  I was so excited and relieved to get to this point.  The next goal will be to get to 28 weeks.  I have 2 appointments next week with MFM and my regular OB.  Hoping to see that the abruption is either stable or improved.  I haven’t had any further bleeding since 20 weeks so I’m hopeful for that.  Talks of steroid shots at this point are on hold since apparently they only give them if they think you are going to deliver in the next 7 days.  Since they don’t anticipate that I haven’t had them yet.  Other bonus is that we are still at home and not in the hospital which is great.  Here’s a picture from the day as well as a picture of the sweet card and care package from Hogoboom.  Her support as well as FreckledFox has been absolutely amazing.  I couldn’t have gotten through these last few weeks without them.

happy2bee :  SO exciting! Congratulations!!! FX everything continues to be stable

I hit 12 weeks on Wednesday and my mom and sister stopped being able to contain their excitement and gave me presents this week (so far they have been respectful of my cautiousness and anxiety lol). My sister went to the maternity clothes store and bought me 2 shirts for work even though my clothes still fit. At my OB appointment last night we heard the hearbeat on a doplar for the first time. HB is 160 and Squirt is clearly doing well πŸ™‚

After my appointment my sister took me to Motherhood Maternity and I tried on pants. She suggested that I buy something sooner instead of later because one day I’ll try to get dressed and wish I had something to wear. I didn’t find any pants that I liked and it was super uncomfortable for me to be there. I found a tshirt that said “some things are worth the wait” and I bought it to celebrate my milestone.

When did you ladies start needing pants? I have a belly band for the extra bloated days but my pants still close.

Weeks pregnant/due date: I am 4 wks and 2 days right now. Due date is December 6th, 2017 which is one of my older brothers birthdays and 2 days before mine πŸ™‚

Pregnancy journey: For my first pregnancy (which took 8 months of TTC to get our BFP), I had a missed miscarriage. The baby died at 7 weeks, but my body didn’t actually natually miscarry until I was supposed to be 13 weeks. I found out when I went for my first ultrasound at 9 and a half weeks. I was told there was no heartbeat and that the gestational sac was measuring almost 2 weeks behind. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through, knowing that my pregnancy was over but that my baby was still inside of me and waiting for my body flush everything out. It was emotional torture! However, once everything was over and we grieved our loss, we felt we were ready to start trying again once my regular cycle returned. And low and behold I got pregnant again right away. So we’re very grateful, but nervous all at the same time. We’re just hoping this pregnancy sticks this time and that we have a full happy and healthy 9 months.

Next appt/test/ultrasound: I just called my doctor’s office this morning to try and schedule an appointment with my doctor to confirm my pregnancy. The earliest they could get me is April 18th which is 3 and a half weeks from now and I know it’s going to drive me nuts waiting that long! So I’m thinking I might just go to a walk-in clinic just to confirm my pregnancy and then I’ll see my doctor at my scheduled appointment to get a referral to an OB. It will at least save some time and so much waiting. I know I probably shouldn’t do that, but after my miscarriage my husband and I want that confirmation and ressurance as soon as possible!

Anything you’re struggling with? What helps you?: I’m struggling with the fear of having another miscarriage. I’m doing my best not to let it run me right now though. I know it’s not going to change anything and it’s only going to rip me off from enjoying this beautiful experience.

Share a pic of anything (BFP, ultrasound, pet, funny gif): Here’s a pic of my BFP that I got yesterday. It’s faint as I took it a bit too early (5 days before expected af). But you can definitely see a line is there. I plan on taking another test on Sunday to see if the line gets darker.

Bonus Question – What are you most looking forward to about Christmas this year?: I’m looking forward to having our baby being born just before xmas this year and to be able to share our new bundle of joy with our family β€οΈ My birthday is also 2 days after my estimated due date, so it’ll be the perfect birthday present too!

Hi Ladies,

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I am feeling good at 22+1. I had a great weekend with family. My parents went with us to Babies R Us to create a baby registry. Almost 3 hours later we had the major stuff added. I was so tired and I think the consultant knew it, she was adding items from her IPad at the end. Just have to add little things now that were not in the store, mainly stroller and car seat accessories.

This weekend my parents bought us our dresser for the nursery and the Halo Luxe Bassinest which has been selling out quickly here since it was revised. My mom told us they have other little things for baby but she didn’t want to overwhelm us with them this weekend. She also bought me a really comfy maxi dress for the summer. My mother in law purchased our crib and crib mattress. Grateful and blessed. DH and I picked up our nursery bedding and accessories. We are mainly using our registry for our own use and to check on sales over the next year.

My C-Section and cyst removal (likely with right ovary removal) is officially booked for July 31st. I’m a bit nervous as I’ve never been through this before, and hoping that baby boy stays put until then.

Excited for the months ahead! πŸ™‚

  • Wedding: August 2013 - backyard in the woods

I wanted to share that our little girl, Zella, was born Thursday at 12:10 a.m., on her due date by 10 minutes! I went into labor late on the evening of my birthday and she was born after approximately 26 hours of labor. I labored naturally for about 20 of those 26 hours but got stuck in transition (8 cm) for over 12 hours so eventually I was so exhausted that I got an epidural and pitocin. Zella was 8 lbs 4 oz (pretty much exactly on par with her growth scan estimates) and is doing well. I’m sore as heck from a nasty 3rd degree tear, but otherwise doing well too.

Aqualov :  congratulations!!! Welcome to the world Zella!! (Love the name!)

13 weeks tomorrow and spent the day traveling- wore my brand new (under the belly) maternity leggings for the first time because my regular ones were in the wash. I’ve only gained 2 pounds so this is serious bloat lol

I’ve been meaning to roll call here for a while now but by the time I log on and get caught up on all the posts, I forget to actually do it! πŸ™‚

Roll Call!

Weeks pregnant/due date: 14+4, due Sept 29

Pregnancy journey: We have severe MFI and have been trying for baby #2 since August 2015. We did our first IVF cycle in November of this past year and froze four day 3 embryos. We did a freeze all because I was in such severe pain after retrieval. We did our first FET January 9th and transferred one of our embryos, and here we are!

Next appt/test/ultrasound: My next appointment is next Thursday at 15+6. I’ll be given my requisition for my anatomy scan to book a couple weeks later! I’m also being referred to an OB as I think my anxiety over this pregnancy is too much for my current family doc. She seems pretty eager to ship me off to a specialist, and I’m OK going!

Anything you’re struggling with?  What helps you?: I’m really struggling to be excited for this pregnancy and settle in and enjoy it. I’m just always worried something will go awry. I’m hoping I feel much better after our anatomy scan.

Share a pic of anything (BFP, ultrasound, pet, funny gif):

Bonus Question – What are you most looking forward to about Christmas this year?: Being on mat leave!!!
