soontobemrs1011 :  congrats on the good test results! What a relief! And yay for a baby girl!!

YogaMama :  yay for good test results!

Dreaming13 :  eek we went through a move recently too and I know it’s so stressful! You still have some time! Hang in there!

DrunkInLove :  You poor thing! What an awful scare. 🙁 did you get an update? I had brown spotting that turned into a big gush of red blood while I was at work very early in my pregnancy. Waiting for answers is complete agony. I hope everything works out for you!

AFM I am 32 weeks today. I had my appt. this morning and the doctor said my fundal height is still 29 cm so she is sending me for a growth scan. They can’t fit me in for a scan for 2 weeks so now I’m all worried and impatient. I just want some reassurance! Heart rate is still good and she moves constantly. I also think she is laying kind of diagonal or sideways based on where I feel her. I have been feeling really nauseated today though so I don’t know what’s going on!

<u>hollyberry4 :</u>  Yes! Thank you! It’s been super stressful but I (well, both my husband and I) breathed a huge sigh of relief when we saw a little nugget in there measuring right on time at 6w1d and with a heartbeat of 110. They like to see 120, so I go in for another sono at 8 weeks but I’m not complaining about the extra scan… they’re not worried though since it sometimes takes the heartbeat a few days to reach that point.

So, yes, answers and relief but I honestly don’t think I’ll feel better until a baby is in my arms.

36+4 and feeling pretty uncomfortable with Braxton Hicks and swollen legs and feet. My feet look like watermelons and my toes like cherries.

Finally got our Genetics results; 0.0134% chance of Cystic Fibrosis (DH’s cousin has it) and thankfully I am not a carrier for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia. My husband will pass on the gene, but baby will be an “unaffected carrier.” Grateful. Praying that baby boy will stay put and be as healthy as possible. Check up Friday.

I will reply to others soon.

Have a wonderful evening, ladies! 🙂

Dreaming13 :  How are you doing? Any more progress with room painting?

soontobemrs1011 :  Glad you are feeling well and getting great test results! 🙂 Congratulations on a girl! Such beautiful news!

ajillity81 :  How did your OB appointment go? I think that’s great that your son has the baby doll to help him slowly understand about the new baby. My girlfriend is pregnant with her 2nd and her daughter is 2 years old and not quite understanding yet about the new baby on the way. I guess it’s hard to grasp at such young ages. Hope you are feeling well! 🙂

vanike :  How are you feeling in your pregnancy? How far along are you now?

YogaMama :  Yayyy for great test results!

DrunkInLove :  Glad you had a great scan! I am 36+6 and I still worry about baby boy at every appointment, I think it’s common. 🙂

AFM, Back from my check up today. Back pain and swollen legs and feet are not of concern to my OB, the pains are not Braxton Hicks and he said the swelling is part of the pregnancy and also could be weather related. He joked it brings out my pedicure, lol. Pre Op Monday and hoping that goes well. Can’t believe how fast the days are going! 🙂

weightwatchers152 :  I can’t believe how close you are!! My feet/legs are getting swollen when I’ve been on them all day in the heat. I imagine it’s only going to get worse (my blood pressure is super low so no worries there). I hope your time left before you are a mommy is enjoyable!

Dreaming13 :  Thank you, friend! Hope you had a great weekend and are feeling well.

AFM, had my Pre Op today, it went well. I met with a nurse first, and then the anaesthesiologist.

He went over the procedure, risks, and plan. They are going to use a combined spinal/epidural so that if they are concerned the C Section will go longer, the other medication will kick in and also less in the blood and going to the baby. He did caution me that they may have to convert to general anaesthetic, but ideally they want the Mom to be awake and be able to meet the baby, etc.

Once the baby is out, he’ll be examined by the NICU staff, then my husband can go over, then they’ll bring baby close to me for the first hug and kiss.

The doctor told me it may be chaotic in the OR because there will be lots of people taking good care of me. He told me the anaestheologist working that day is excellent.

Can’t believe I’m reaching the end of the pregnancy. Surreal.

Have a great day, ladies! 🙂

weightwatchers152 :  glad your appointment went well! That’s great to be prepared and know exactly what is going to happen. Please remind me what day your C-section is scheduled for?

It’s Friday ladies! We have our last shower on Sunday so I’m excited! It’s co-ed and at our house so DH is excited, too! I hope everyone has a good weekend!

Update on growth scan (had to get one because fundal height measured 3 weeks behind): baby girl is measuring 5 lb 1 oz and right on track for her due date (I’m 33 week 6 days today). Just goes to show you that fundal height measurements don’t mean a whole lot…

I hope it’s okay to roll call, I know this thread was started 7 months ago.

Roll Call!

Weeks pregnant/due date: 4 weeks 5 days March 30, 2018

Pregnancy journey: We had 4 losses in total before getting pregnant with DS in February 2015, 1 MMC and 3 early losses at between 5-6 weeks.  Started TTC #2 in August 2016, got pregnant right away, ended up being a blighted ovum, MC in September.  TTC for 9 more months before getting this BFP.  We started seeing an RE about a month and a half ago and were in the process of doing all our testing, I had pretty much given up and just assumed that we were going to need help because of my FSH and LH levels.  We ended up conceiving naturally, now just super worried about a MC but so far so good.

Next appt/test/ultrasound: Just did a second round HCG at 17 dpo, came back at 540 and progesterone level looks good.  Waiting on the RE office to tell me next steps, it will mostlikely be an ultrasound between 6-7 weeks.

Anything you’re struggling with?  What helps you?: Fear of loss, of the 6 previous pregnancies I’ve only been able to sustain 1 so I’m constantly worried that we are going to loose this pregnancy as well.  I feel like a lot of the joy of finding out about the pregnancy has been taken away because of that and just replaced with fear.  The only thing that has really helped me is remembering it happened with our DS and it can happen again.

Share a pic of anything (BFP, ultrasound, pet, funny gif): Our fur baby Crash, can’t believe he’s almost 8 years old.

Crash

Bonus Question – What are you most looking forward to about Christmas this year?: Given that it’s a few months away I’m not really sure, I guess I would say having a baby bump!

weightwatchers152 :  getting close! so excited for you! what day is your C?

hollyberry4 :  great news. your baby is doing great.  DS was born 36+6 at 5lb3oz. don’t stress about fundal measurements.

GonnaBeAFind :  welcome! did your RE talk to you about progesterone at all?  usually first u/s with RE is after the 6 week mark.

AFM – nothing new here really.  i will be 20 weeks on friday.  have my anatomy scan scheduled for next week and fetal echo the week after that.  i tried to get out of the fetal echo this time.  it is 100% covered by insurance. after the fact, i felt it a waste of time for DS. but my OB said because it’s IVF, blah, blah, blah.  i guess I’ll just enjoy another peak at the baby.

hollyberry4 :  Yay for everything on track!

ajillity81 :  That 20 week mark was fun. I had the fetal echo too and it was pretty quick (everything was fine of course).

29 weeks tomorrow, getting bigger but still feel great overall. We have commitment letter for mortgage in hand, closing is 3 weeks from today and I’m starting to go bonkers that I can’t nest for a few more weeks. This past weekend I made DH go shopping for new furniture with me and I’m freaking that I can’t order it until we are in the house and it won’t be ready to be delivered until the week of my due date at the earliest… My family (inlaws and parents) have both said that they would make sure that they were around for furniture delivery if I go into labor lol I’ll figure it out

Now it’s a matter of packing everything up (I have no place for boxes!) and organizing all those last minute details! Anyone have a good checklist?

How is everyone feeling???

Roll Call!

Weeks pregnant/due date: I’ll be 10 weeks tomorrow.  Due February 22, 2018.

Pregnancy journey: Spontaneous normal first pregnancy with my son.  Then an ectopic, lost tube, couldn’t get pregnant again so we did IVF.  Now pregnant with baby #2.

Next appt/test/ultrasound: Ultrasound with my RE on July 31.  I’m getting them every week or so in the first trimester.  Seems overkill but the reassurance has helped me not worry.  I have my next midwife appt and 12 week scan on August 14.

Anything you’re struggling with?  What helps you?: Sickness is reassuring but I didn’t have this with my first and it is making it hard to “enjoy” the pregnancy which is already hard to do after all the struggle to get here.  I think the best thing for me is to share my pregnancy news with others.  They get so excited that it boosts my mood too.

Share a pic of anything (BFP, ultrasound, pet, funny gif): 9 weeks, head on the left, butt on the right, umbilical cord is the line going toward the top.9 Weeks

Bonus Question – What are you most looking forward to about Christmas this year?: Having a baby bump and seeing my 3 year old really get into it.
