- Wedding: December 2014
TTC since July 2012. It took us 3 1/2 years, 2 chemical pregnancies, one egg retrieval that caused OHSS and 3 failed FETs of perfect embryos to finally get pregnant on the transfer of our last embryo. Had a lot of bleeding in the first trimester including a massive harmoremorrage at 7weeks so feeling very blessed to be this far into a pregnancy.
OB on Tuesday. They have an ultrasound machine in the room so we see baby at each appointment.
ave been cramping a bit and apparently my placenta moved and is now anterior so I’m not feeling bub yet which is hard.
Being busy at work so I don’t have time to think the worst.
Weeks pregnant/due date: 13w2d, due Dec 13th!
Pregnancy journey: TTC since summer 2015, IVF cycle March 2016. Originally sent to IVF for MFI but discovered that I have unexplained super-crappy eggs when only ONE of my eggs fertilized. Luckily that one egg stuck, and with a little luck we will be welcoming our baby girl at the end of this year 🙂
Next appt/test/ultrasound: June 29th. I was released from the RE at 10 weeks and it has been hard adjusting to once-a-month ultrasounds instead of the weekly ultrasounds I was used to!
What are you struggling with: Still worried about miscarriage, although I am more relaxed post NT-scan.
What helps you: My new fetal doppler – I listen to baby girl’s heart at least once a day 🙂
Share a pic of anything (BFP, ultrasound, pet, funny gif): I texted this to friends & family last week 🙂
Weeks pregnant/due date: 9W3D/ January 9
Pregnancy journey: DH and I started in January 2015; long, irregular cycles; after a few months did 4 cycles of Clomid and a great SA with my obgyn before moving to the RE; Started at the RE in January 2016, diagnosed unexplained; first ever BFP after our 1st cycle Clomid + trigger shot + IUI.
Next appt/test/ultrasound: Just had my first appointment at my ob today (after 2 previous ultrasounds at the RE) and saw LO again. Next appt will be on July 1
What are you struggling with: worrying that all these ultrasounds I’ve had early on are having a negative impact on baby’s early development! Exhaustion. Worrying that anything will go wrong at any minute!
What helps you: Looking at the percentages for miscarriage as the weeks go by; knowing there is nothing we can do except take care of myself; trusting my doctors.

Today’s picture of our little teddy graham (he/she is upside down- giant head!). He/she was a little wiggle bug today, and even waved to Mommy! So surreal.
AFM, met with my new pelvic pain specialist for the second time. She, like my previous specialist, is recommending a scheduled c-section because of my pudendal neuralgia. My MFM wanted to talk to her before we made a decision. So I was planning on a section before I moved, then rolled back that certainty a bit after meeting with the MFM in my new city, then now it seems it’s back on. I had a lot of increased pudendal nerve pain from the weight of my uterus early in pregnancy before it moved up off the nerve around 18-19 weeks. It should start putting pressure on the nerve again in the third trimester, so increased pain again then would be a clear indication for a c-section (the earlier pain already is a pretty good indication.) So if it doesn’t come back we can reconsider, but she would still lean towards a section even without it coming back. Apparently the pregnancy steroids leaving my system will cause a postpartum pain flare, so keeping trauma to my problem nerves/muscles minimal will reduce the severity of that. So a c-section won’t necessarily be a harder recovery for me, it could be easier, but it has lower risks of worsening my pain long-term.
Weeks pregnant/due date: 33w 4 d, July 25 2016
Pregnancy journey: We started trying in August 2013, got a BFP in October 2013, MC at 6 weeks. I switched doctors because I hated how my previous doctor handled everything about my MC. We kept trying with no success, my new doctor did all kinds of tests on us and everything was totally normal with both of us. I got my BFP in November 2015 while I was waiting for my doctor to call me with my IUI consultation appointment 🙂
Next appt/test/ultrasound: I just had an appointment this morning, my next one is June 23rd as well as my next ultrasound.
What are you struggling with: I stress even now when I don’t feel little man move around much for awhile, and any pain I feel I automatically worry.
What helps you: I can almost always get him to perk up when I eat ice cream, so whenever I’m worried he’s not moving around much, I get to have ice cream 🙂 It helps that my appointments are every two weeks so I get to hear his heartbeat <3
Share a pic of anything (BFP, ultrasound, pet, funny gif): I don’t have any on this computer but I’ll share something soon! 🙂
Figured I’d roll call one more time!
Weeks pregnant/due date: 37 weeks 4 days/June 27th
Pregnancy journey: TTC for a year with no luck. Got pregnant our first IUI but miscarried at 7 weeks. Got pregnant with our baby girl on our third IUI.
Next appt/test/ultrasound: Next appt is next Thursday and they will do a cervical check to see if I’m dilated at all.
What are you struggling with: Nothing right now. Just can’t wait to meet our baby girl. It was rough in the beginning. I was super nervous about miscarrying again and panicked over everything.
What helps you: I love feeling her move around all the time. Once I started feeling her move, I started to relax which made it easier to enjoy without all the constant worrying.

Weeks pregnant/due date: 13w4d / December 12th
Pregnancy journey: We started trying in October 2014, right after our wedding and honeymoon. After a year without so much as a late period, we went to see an RE around Thanksgiving 2015. RE did a bunch of tests and didn’t find anything that could be keeping us from conceiving; he recommended either tryng a little longer or doing a medicated IUI cycle. I’m 35 so we opted for the medicated IUI rather than wait, and were lucky enough to conceive our little guy or gal (still TBD).
Next appt/test/ultrasound: June 30th for my 16 week scan. We had the NT scan last week, which went well, and are currently waiting for the results of the cell free DNA test.
What are you struggling with: freaking out about miscarriage, worrying about an incompetent cervix, you name it…
Share a pic of anything (BFP, ultrasound, pet, funny gif): This was my fortune cookie insert. 🙂 (sorry if it’s huge!)
Just stopping in to say good luck ladies and I’ll be checking in when I can. It’s so exciting to see so many bee’s on here that I’ve been struggling with.
It’s so weird. I just realized it’s the first time in two years I haven’t roll called anywhere.
I haven’t been around in a while and don’t know how many familiar faces are still on here but just wanted to wish you all luck! My rainbow baby is 9 months old and this board got me through so much. Sending love to you all!
Starting to realize that this is actually happening now we are over half way and panicking a little bit that I’m going to have a little human that I’m going to be responsible for.
My ultrasound went really well on Friday! Twin A’s heartbeat measured 97 and Twin B’s measured 107. My RE said that was good for being 5 weeks 6 days. Thoughts??? I go in next Thursday for my follow-up. I just started my lovenox injections and they’re quite painful and I’m no stranger to injections. Any tips to make them less painful? I’ve only been injecting in my stomach area and haven’t tried the thigh yet…Hope everyone had a great weekend!
