Roll Call!

Weeks pregnant/due date: 35+4 Due July 14th

Pregnancy journey: Started TTC July 2014, pregnant in October 2014, MMC January 2, 2015, followed by ~7 months of risidual hgc issues and surgeries. Inspections for molar pregnancy, etc. Finally could start TTC again in July of 2015, pregnant in October 2015. Due date for this one is 5 days earlier than MMC from the year before.

Next appt/test/ultrasound: 36 week check up on Wednesday this week.

What are you struggling with: Carpel tunnel is pretty bad. Hard to use my hands to put my hair up, open doors, do chores. Other than that though, I’m still sleeping well and working. Not too much discomfort. I’m also struggling with HR at work. They are less than helpful. At this point, I still don’t know how I’m supposed to use FMLA, get on short term disability, or get my baby added to insurance while I’m on leave.

What helps you: Pretty much in the home stretch. Still pretty unreal. I know I’m going to have a baby next month, but I still don’t “feel” like I’ll have a baby to bring home next month. If that makes sense.

Share a pic of anything (BFP, ultrasound, pet, funny gif): I’ll post something later from my phone. Don’t have anything on this computer.

Funny story though – last night while going to sleep, DH and I were spooning and he had his hand on my belly. The baby kept kicking and he said he had couldn’t spoon anymore because the baby was keeping him awake… Must be a hard life Dear. haha

Hi ladies!

I have a question for you who are pregnant after IVF. I just went in for a blood draw this morning (20 dp 5dt) and my progesterone levels are only 8. I’m freaking out a little. I’m on vaginal suppositories 3x day and PIO 2x a week. Should I be worried? I emailed by doctor, but they are typically slow to respond.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Feist:  Your pregnancy is also flying by, it seemed like yesterday you got your BFP and now you’re already past viability.

AFM, nothing much to report (thankfully). I’m 30w1d today and just looking forward to my baby shower this weekend. We have lots of things coming up in the way of classes for baby and pediatric meet and greets but other than that it’s just a waiting game. So glad to see everyone is doing well.

MechEBee:  Sorry about the carpel tunnel 🙁 Your DH is hilarious – if they only knew what we go through at night trying to get a good night’s rest.

rusticgirl:  I’m sorry I don’t know what that equates to in Australian measurements because ours are different. I hope they get back to you soon.

leahdany:  Thank you. Have fun at your baby shower this weekend 🙂

AFM, I’m a little nervous. My breast tenderness has decreased dramatically and I’m only 6 weeks 4 days. Also, true morning sickness has not set in. I only have some food aversions and gag at certain smells. It this normal? I thought with twins my symptoms would be stronger. I have another ultrasound tomorrow so I hope I get some good news. Does anyone know what the chances of miscarriage are after hearing the heartbeat? I’m a nervous wreck today 🙁

Ham1320:  Thank you! Sorry you are worried about your symptoms decrease. It seems like everyone says this but be happy you are not doubled over with sickness, it’s still early yet. The link I’m posting here has percentage of risk of miscarriage by day (it helped me a lot in those early weeks). Good luck at your US tomorrow, hoping you see two healthy babes in there going strong.

arielmerms:  yep! we actually heard back on Monday… low risk for everything, and it’s a little boy. 🙂

Ham1320:  I’m 14w3d. In my case, the symptoms fluctuated – some days my breasts would be super tender and achy, and then I’d have a random day where they were barely painful at all (and then I would panic panic panic). The tenderness always came back though. I also never threw up – though between weeks 6 and 12 I had near-daily nausea that could only be staved off by eating starchy, carby foods.

leahdany:  Thank you for that! It really helped ease my mind. Luckily both babies looked really good today 🙂

nightborn:  Thank you–Good to know! My symptoms came back with a vengeance last night so I guess mine come and go too. I’m glad I’m not the only one that panics. Congrats on finding out the sex!!!!

AFM, had another sono and the babies measured exactly where they’re supposed to be at 6 weeks 5 days with heartbeats of 132 and 137. My RE seemed really confident and told me that my risk of miscarriage was now 5%. I was hoping for heartrates in the 140’s but I guess the 130’s are good too. He also referred me to a counselor to talk about my anxiety if I want to. He said there’s no need to be anxious right now so I’m taking comfort in that.
