arielmerms :  nursery looks great! You are so talented!

RunnerBride13 :  I think that’s more an aspect of BMWs actually. They go for a sportier drive so it’s less smooth. Lexus and Mercedes are both known for a really smooth ride and not as sporty (and thus are stereotyped as more for older people.)

MattieK :  yay for the Subaru! I drove cross country with Paul and Jake in our old outback and it served us so well across the mountains and in crazy snow and in the cities as well.

Not too much happening here, I’ll be 38 weeks tomorrow. One week and two days until c-section! I finally unpacked our last box from the move in May, and I have one more bin of papers to go through. Which means our nursery is basically clear of moving stuff, and coming along great. Baby will start in our room and my mom will be staying in baby’s room so I won’t be finishing it until she leaves anyway. This nesting urge is great for getting us moved in the rest of the way! But it is exhausting. I was down with a cold a couple weeks ago and staying in bed for a week meant my feet and legs unswelled, and restless legs went away. Well, now that I’m in full nesting mode, I’m back to being swollen and my legs are driving me crazy again!

Ham1320 :  Yeah mine was certified pre owned and I’ve been very happy with the service. Anyway, I’m sure your little ones are doing fine!! Most people can’t feel them until like 20 weeks and twins are smaller so I bet it’s even later. You have no reason to think anything is wrong! When is your next OB appointment? I’m sure you’ll feel better after getting a peek at them ☺️

Ham1320 :  Do you have an anterior placenta? With my son I wasn’t able to feel him until almost 30 weeks. I hope you can feel your twins soon!

arielmerms :  The nursery is beautiful!! I love the wall color!

Feist :  Haha my Lexus came from Florida because they all have like zero miles on them because old people own them!! I can’t believe you’re almost ready to pop!! That seemed to go quickly (not for you I’m sure!!).

Feist :  Congrats on being 38 weeks!!

RunnerBride13 :  That’s awesome–glad to know you had a good experience. I’ll see them Thursday, so hopefully all goes well.

Turtle83 :  Wow, almost 30 weeks?  One is anterior and one is posterior, at least according to my last appt weeks ago. I’ll make sure to ask again on Thursday at my appt. I thought I felt our baby girl this weekend but I haven’t felt her since so it was probably just gas. That makes sense that I can’t feel our boy then since he’s anterior.

Ham1320 :  Yep I was well in the 3rd trimester when I finally felt him move, by then he was so big that I completely skipped the strong kicks phase. At every appointment I was afraid that I would learn he had died, it was stressful but everytime we saw him on the u/s he was moving around a lot, I just couldn’t feel anything. He is a very happy and healthy boy 🙂 Good luck on Thursday!

RunnerBride13 :  other people’s pregnancies go so fast, don’t they? 😂 It felt really slow for most of the pregnancy but I still can’t believe I’ll have my baby next Thursday at the latest! My chronic pain is aggravated by vibrations/bumps so my husband got a Lexus when he bought a new car a few years back. I love the old fogey smooth ride 🙂

arielmerms :  I love your nursery, you are so brave with color and it paid off!

Ham1320 :  I’m sorry you are feeling nervous, that in between time must be torture.  I know people who have purchased home heartbeat dopplers, which helped ea se their anxiety. Maybe a good option if you have an anterior placenta?

Feist :  I can’t believe baby girl is almost here! And high five to you for getting unpacked, that must feel amazing!

AFM, Im 7w6d today, and getting my blood drawn to start weaning off of PIO! I am super excited about this, th ose shots have been the bane of my existence for the last 6 weeks. I could use a little bit of a break physically, because in addition to the all day nausea/exhaustion/blacking out, I have a monster case of poison ivy that I just cannot get rid of. It’s creeping everywhere, limbs, stomach, boobs, butt. So any slight increase in physical comfort feels like a big win these days!

MattieK :  Oh man that sucks about the poison ivy but yay for no more PIO! I had to stay on crinone until 10 weeks but was soooo happy to stop! I told my husband I’d gladly stay on the lovenox shots (which actually do kind of hurt) over crinone because it’s so nasty!! No more panty liners 😂

MattieK :  Yuck, sorry about the poision ivy! Congrats on your new car too!

Feist :  Hard to believe you are so close already!

arielmerms :  your nursery looks beautiful! I love all the color, especially the walls. Did you make the quilt?

RunnerBride13 :  How are you doing?

Thunderstorm :  Thank you! Yes, just two more days 🙂 How are

Ham1320 :  I’m so sorry you are getting nervous you can’t feel them moving. I hope tomorrow’s appointment helps to ease your mind!

AFM, we got the results! Cell Free DNA test came back normal, we can still decide to do an amnio if we want to. Also, baby is a girl!!!

MattieK :  Have you tried Technu? It’s a lotion you run on the rinse off. Amazing. I did stream and wetland research for years and this is all we used. It kills the oils from poison ivy. It works best if used asap, but still helps a lot if you use it later too. You can find it near the calamine lotion and other poison ivy ‘remedies’.

JLBB-brooklyn :  Yay!!!! Congrats!! It seems like everyone who does IVF has a boy, so yay for a girl! I’m doing well! I have another OB appointment on Tuesday that I’m already a little nervous for but trying to stay calm! Still some nausea and this week I got a cold, but otherwise ok. How about you?
