MrsMellyBean :  Yay! Congrats on getting your hubby back soon! I honestly don’t know where I want to move! He wants to go to the Bay Area since he’s in IT, but it’s just soooo expensive. He’s looking in Seattle too, but of course the weather isn’t great. I’m from southern CA but don’t really want to move there because it’s so hot and expensive. He’s from AZ and I will never move there, but the west coast would at least be closer to our families. We live in NC now and I love it, but my hubby doesn’t like it so much. So… we’ll see! Are you guys planning on moving too?

MrsMellyBean :  Ultrasound went great, saw the little bean with a heartbeat of 155 which is great!  Also had my first OB appt today.  I find it comical that they made me POAS to confirm my pregnancy (as if 2 HCG and 2 ultrasounds weren’t enough to confirm it).  I’m high risk because of my high blood pressure but other than that and some big fibroids I’m good to go!

Here’s a picture of the bean:

KatieBklyn :  The start of your ultrasound sounds so stressful ugh! Glad to hear that your miracle babe was super active and happy once you got to see them though. When do you get to go back for another?

Soton85 :  I’m in the exact same boat. I have this fear that I have a gestational sac that’s growing and my hcg is going up but that there’s no baby inside. I wish 8 weeks wasn’t so far away!

RunnerBride13 :  That’s great! You guys have so many options. I think we’re planning on moving within the city we already live in, but that’s about it. We both enjoy it here and there are usually some pretty good job opportunities so we will stay put for awhile anyways. We’re in Canada though.

happy2bee : Hooray! I’m so glad it went well. What a perfect little heartbeat for a perfect little bean! So happy for you. That’s funny that they made you POAS. My OB didn’t make me do any bloodwork or take a test haha he just took my word. Hope your blood pressure settles down a bit. Feeling any better?

soontobemrs1011 :   Soton85 : MrsMellyBean :   Don’t think I’ve welcomed you all yet- welcome!

RunnerBride13 :  Hah, my husband is also in IT (well technically he’s a computer programmer- he gets upset when I equate the two for simplicity’s sake) and job searching nationally right now too! Our strongest possibilities right now are Pittsburgh and Portland. We’ll see how the interviews next week go and what kind of offers he gets. In general I want to move, but I’m getting nervous about when it will be. Too close to our due date would be awful! How would that even work? I get too big to fly and have to stay and he flys back when I go into labor and hopefully makes the birth and then flys back a few days later and I wait until baby is a little bigger to move myself? Ugh. Sounds awful! Hopefully it’s either really soon, or after April for us.

happy2bee :  Glad to hear your US went well!

hogoboom2012 :  I bought maternity jeans about then becuase the restriction from my normal jeans hurt. If you get the full panel kind you can simply flip the elasticy part down until you’re big enough to need full panel- works just like a belly band. Personally I live in leggings whenever I can. My husband finds this hilarious because I was firmly in the ‘legging are NOT pants’ camp pre-pregnancy. Being short and curvy makes it sooo hard to find decent maternity pants that I’ve gone totally the other way now.

Ham1320 :  Sorry you’ve been so miserable! hopefully your OB agrees to the tests to check on them. I’m sure you already do this, but I would try to keeping thinking about how every day your little babies are in is so great for them! The things we suffer for them- if they only knew;)

KatieBklyn :  Yay! What awesome news!

Sorry, catching up!

Soton85 :  welcome!  Those are beautiful lines!

MrsMellyBean :  You have no idea how thrilled I am to see you on the thread again!  I am so hoping your 8 week scan goes perfectly and this is your super sticky bean.  You’ve been through the wringer lady!

4littlekitties :  oh my goodness!  How scary!  I’m glad everything is OK and progressing smoothly.

RunnerBride13 :  I have no experience with this at all, but I’m thinking of you and your little guy!  I hope everything turns out ok and he’s growing perfectly fine!  Do you have a long torso?  Is that hiding the pregnancy more?

JLBB-brooklyn :  I’m still frustrated for you over the shower situation, but thrilled that your sister and brother are stepping up more for you!  And that you’ll have a second shower to really look forward to 🙂 thanks for the idea on the demi panel jeans.  I haven’t actually gone into any stores to look (we don’t have a single store in our town that carries maternity clothes other than sometimes Goodwill.  I’ll need to go to a bigger city!) so I’ll put those on the list to try.

soontobemrs1011 :  eekk!  Hi!  Welcome and congratulations!!!

Ham1320 :  oh my gosh.  You’re having such a rough go with this!  I hope you can hang in there and make it thru.  You’re getting closer and babies are safer every day you can keep them in.  You’re in my thoughts a lot.  I hope this week is better for you.

MrsMellyBean :  They’re still present and accounted for.  I saw my OB and she told me to continue taking Norco as needed and to not fight the pain in an effort to try and avoid taking something.  I’m down to only needing 1-2 a day though and I’ve made it a couple days this week without taking any which is huge progress!  I’ll see my OB again on Wed and she’ll do another scan I’m sure.  In her mind, she said to get through this pregnancy keeping both baby and me as healthy as possible and then we’ll look into other options.  She agrees though that if we want future bio kids, we’ll need to bank embryos.  It makes me all the more thankful for this little one!!!

KatieBklyn :  that would be terrifying!!!  I’m glad he listened to you and switched to abdominal and that your little miracle was moving for you.  It’s so cool to watch them move!

happy2bee :  I know I told you yesterday but congrats again!  That’s great!  And bean looks perfect 🙂

Aqualov :  I’ve beein living in leggings and sweater dresses the last month because the pressure from the cysts made my normal jeans so uncomfortable!  I can wear them still and have the last couple days which is nice, but they definitely aren’t fitting quite as well as normal.  I didn’t think about the full panels acting like a band.  I just need to go to a store and try some I think.  Thanks for the suggestion!

happy2bee :  Beautiful!!

MrsMellyBean :  Oh that’s nice! I wouldn’t mind moving but staying in this city – we could buy a pretty nice house here compared to the other cities Darling Husband is looking in.

Aqualov :  Ugh I know! I’m not supposed to fly after January 15th, so with the holidays there’s basically no time for us to move. I would hate for him to move first or something, but I also really don’t want to find new doctors. Why Pittsburgh or Portland? Just where he happened to find jobs? Where do you live now?

hogoboom2012 :  Not really haha, I’m only 5’4″ and pretty petite. My mom is 5’1″ and about 100 pounds, and she only gained 17 pounds with her three pregnancies, so maybe it’s just how I am. I hope you are feeling better!

RunnerBride13 :  That’s just where the jobs he’s most interested in that have also scheduled interviews are located. He’s got two interviews in Portland and one in Pittsburgh. A few more have requested more info but not interviews yet, mainly located on the east coast. We’re in the Detroit area now.

Ham1320 :  you poor thing. You’ve suffered so much during this pregnancy. 32 weeks is fantastic though – keep cooking, little babies! When does your doc want to deliver you?

soontobemrs1011 :  welcome and congratulations!

AFM… I am due on Monday. 😱 I’m almost fully effaced and 3cm dilated, and having lots of very painful contractions in the night, but they are irregular and come and go, so not real labor…
