Aqualov :  Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ That’s exciting that you’re looking to move as well! Hopefully you guys can hold off until after baby comes. Is your due date in April?

View original reply
hogoboom2012 :  Thanks dear! I like your OB’s outlook on the cysts and the pain management. I’m glad you haven’t had to take as much for the pain though, that’s definitely a good sign. I hope your scan on Wednesday shows that they’ve shrunk and that Baby Boom is happy as can be. How do you feel about potentially banking embryos for future bio kids?

RunnerBride13 :  Maybe your hubby could be convinced :). What is the job market like for him where you’re at now?

nightborn :  Best of luck today if baby decides to come! Hope the contractions aren’t too too terrible.

MrsMellyBean :  It’s actually pretty good, but we aren’t in a big city. DH always comments about how this is a small town and there’s nothing here. I think that’s silly but he is the most stubborn man on earth so I know that he will find a job elsewhere.

MrsMellyBean :  I’m doing well, 26 weeks tomorrow. I have some symphysis pubis and round ligament pain, but he seems happy and is healthy, so that’s all that really counts.

I really hope that this one is your rainbow, I’ll be keeping an eye out for your updates ๐Ÿ™‚

Aqualov :  Hi friend! Your due date is March 30th, mine is April 10, we’ll be having babies around the same time! My husband is also in tech, he’s a software developer, your husband hasn’t considered Seattle? There are a lot of companies in this area. I’m not sure if you’ve shared the sex of the baby.

hogoboom2012 :  I’m sorry you’re in pain, but I’m glad baby is doing great! How many weeks are you now?

KatieBklyn :  Waves Hi!! So happy to see you both here! How old are your babies now? My son will be 11 monts on Christmas day, time flies!

AFM I’m 23w along, I’m yet to feel movement but with my son I didn’t feel anything until 30 weeks so I think the problem it’s me I just don’t notice it until it’s very obvious. I’m starting to get very excited and I even bought a couple of dresses for her! ๐Ÿ˜€

Turtle83 :  23w, time is moving fast! I am not feeling much movement either at 25 weeks now and it is starting to really freak me out….lol.

RunnerBride13 :  Sucks you might have to move towards the end of pregnancy, that is tough….

AFM, a bit over 25 weeks now. Had a growth scan at 24 weeks and both babies were about 1.5 pounds each. From now on, they will be doing growth checks every month. I am bothered by the fact that I still don’t feel much movement, I was told I have anterior placenta on both babies, so my stomach is all cushioned, but even the ultrasound tech said by now I should be feeling them. Grr. And I gained a ridiculous amount of weight, even though it is not visible anywhere except for huge belly. LOL. My next prenatal check is not until 28 weeks, and the office never scheduled me for a glucose test – is this something I should follow up on? I would be happy to skip it if the office forgot…HA.

solnishko1186 :  I had an anterior placenta with my son and I didn’t feel him until 30 weeks, some women are less senstive to movement. You had a scan and saw the babies moving and growing perfectly, ignore the tech! Call your doctor and ask about the glucose test, according to Google it’s done between 24 and 28 weeks but you know not to believe what Google says lol. My OB said that at my 24weeks appointment I would get the paperwork to schedule the glucose test at the lab and I had to do it sometime before the 28 weeks appointment.

Turtle83 :  Yay for our close due dates! We’ve considered Seattle, had a few options there that didn’t pan out. DH is looking for more specific work in data analytics/machine learning, especially medical (he has a biology degree too), not just software development, so we’re looking more for jobs that match what he wants to do and went back to grad school for, as opposed to straight development. This basically means we’re looking for the specific job that fits what he wants, not neccessarily the place it’s located. We do know what sex our baby is, but are keeping it to ourselves until our shower at the end of January. I didn’t want to know and DH did, so especially considering how we got here, I compromised. I wanted DH to feel as bonded as he could with our baby before it gets here. I’ll share with the group here once I annouce at our shower. It’s actually driving me mad not sharing, but it doesn’t feel right to share here before I share with our families, so I’m holding out. If it wasn’t for the explosion of gendered clothing I know for certain we’d get at our shower if I told I’d probably have cracked by now lol.

solnishko1186 :  As much as it sucks I’d ask about the glucose test. It really should be done by 28 weeks. Glad to hear the babies are doing well!

Turtle83 :  Wow, 30 weeks. That makes me feel better. I read dr asks to do a kick count starting at 28 weeks, and if I don’t feel anything by than that would be impossible.

Aqualov :  Yeah, I should call and let them know they forgot to schedule it for me…….I am scared of the results, because all I am craving like crazy is carbs and sugar. I eat insane amounts of fruits, pastries, bread, desserts, etc a day.

solnishko1186 :  I’ve got to do my second one on Monday and I’m a little nervous too. I had to do an early one at about 15 weeks due to risk factors (family history of diabetes). Cravings have nothing to do with how you process the sugar as far as I know. They really have no idea what makes some women have GD and others not. The only links are being overweight (pre-pregnancy) and family history, but there’s still plenty of people who get GD that don’t fit those guidelines. Hopefully yours comes back clean!

solnishko1186 :  that’s great that your babies are doing well! I wouldn’t worry about not feeling movement yet – you’ll feel it. I have an anterior placenta and thought I might not feel it for a long time but I started feeling and seeing it at 20.5 weeks. I think it’s because I’m pretty small so it was quite obvious! I hope you feel it soon, it’s the best thing in the world! My glucose test is next week at 28w2d. I’m not too worried but I guess you never know! I would be sooooo bummed if I had to cut back on sweets ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Ham1320 :  hope everything is going ok!!

Aqualov :  is the drink as gross as they say??

AFM, I’m 27w2d today and I have my first growth scan next week, plus glucose test and a regular OB visit. I’ll be at the clinic all day! I’m nervous for the growth scan and trying to prepare myself but hoping for the best. I just hope we make it through baby showers (12/31 and 1/21) and maternity pics (end of Jan) without any big issues or an early arrival!

Well, my stay here was short lived. My betas were doubling fine last week (114, 255, 688). And then today (5w2d) it dropped to 328. I’ve had cramping, but honestly I thought it was from constipation. And I wiped a tiny bit of brown Sunday and yesterday, but figured it was normal. I guess not. The worst part is they want to check level again on Thursday and to stay on meds til then so that means 2 more freakin PIO shots.

I am so happy that we have 5 in the freezer, but this shit really sucks, and even worse this time of year when I was so happy to be sharing w/ family over Christmas.

I’ guessing that I won’t bleed until I stop the PIO? Does anyone know? And how long will the wait be before we can do FET?
