Roll call:
Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): Sort of rest, sort of TTC.
MC History: Got pregnant in March 2015 and had an MMC at 8 weeks with a D&C following
Issues (if any): PCOS- I don’t ovulate regularly on my own or if I do, it’s usually too weak.
Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): On a rest from meds this cycle. My body seemed to need a break after 5 straight cycles of femara- mainly that my lining was thickening enough. Assuming there’s a next cycle which odds are there will be, I have an appt with my RE on 12/30 to discuss next steps and start a new cycle. It’ll probably be femara, ovidrel and TI again since my doctor thinks that’s all I need to get er done. (This is the combo that helped me get pg the first time).

What are your biggest challenges right now? Getting pregnant! And handling everyone else’s pregnancy announcements. I took them in stride for the first year. Now that we’re wrapping up year 2, not so much. I definitely cry when a close friend or family member announces. I need a little time to process and then I can congratulate them like a human being πŸ˜‰
Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: I think this thread is what helps me cope! I’ve been more and more open with people about our struggles and it actually helps to talk about it. I also really like this quote: “You can complain because roses have thorns or you can rejoice because thorns have roses.”
Just for fun: What is your dream vacation? I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to a fair amount of places- Australia, Israel, Costa Rica, most of western Europe- but my next two biggest dream spots are Greece and South Africa!

GingerBaby:  Sounds like you hit all the best days! FF would give you a high rating πŸ˜‰ The squinter threads kill me too. I like your idea of having one place to post. Since I like to torture myself I’d probably stalk it anyway hahah.

futuremrssquiggs:  added you on FF! I don’t temp anymore and never used the adjuster but I’ve heard it’s fairly accurate.

MC History:  got pregnsnt May 2015 on our first try, ended in a mc at 4w5d, took a month off, got pregnant October 2015 a in our fourth cycle after the first Mc, went for a 8 week scan and found no heartbeat and baby stopped growing at 6 weeks.  Currently trying to process it naturally.

Issues:  doctor says it’s bad luck but I’m  going to request lots of tests

Current coping strategies:  still on the moping stage.

I’ve been lurking for a couple of months and wanting to post, but usually once the thread got to 15+ pages it seemed too late to jump in!  Am looking forward to what I know will be a great source of support from this thread.

Roll call:
Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle):  TTC cycle
MC History: Got married in May, pregnant in August during second cycle TTC.  Went for first checkup and US in September; doctor first thought I had an empty sac but a transvag ultrasound revealed smaller-than-expected fetal pole.  Waited two more weeks for a follow-up US before being diagnosed with a miscarriage (fetus had never grown beyond 6 weeks).  D&C scheduleded two MORE weeks out, which meant no start of closure until early October.  My body has been pretty out of whack since then, with spotting and low HCG readings until late November.  Looks like I am ovulating this week, though, so we’ll start to try again.
Issues (if any): None that we know of, but I’m 37 and this was my first time ever trying to get pregnant, so it’s really too soon to tell if the miscarriage was a fluke or a sign of other problems.
Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): Nothing other than just regular trying for now.
Link to chart: Not charting.
What are your biggest challenges right now? Definitely being patient…At 37 I can’t help but feel the clock ticking REALLY LOUD.
Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes:  No matter what happens with this journey, I have already been blessed beyond measure with the husband and life I have.
Just for fun: What is your dream vacation? A several weeks-long backpacking and trail running trip with my favorite adventure partner.

hey ladies!!

Roll call:
Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): TTC Cycle
MC History: Got pregnant in July after 4 months of TTC; MMC at 9+ weeks; painful D&C.
Issues (if any): I’m old! (40) and have a short LP, although it was 10 days last month – yay!
Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): I’m working closely with an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility. Taking prenatals, fish oil, CoQ10, B6, D, E and Vitex. Progesterone after O. Need to get a new SA for DH and need to follow up with fertility specialists. Oh and using pre-seed. And temping, OPKs and CM.
Link to chart: Not sure how to do this?!
What are your biggest challenges right now? Patience! It will happen!!!
Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: Just trying to focus on being healthy and enjoying my life.
Just for fun: What is your dream vacation? I travelled too much this year already! I just want to stay home and nest. πŸ™‚ Although next year we have plans for France.

Roll call:
Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): TTC Cycle
MC History: Took 12 cycles to conceive baby #2, which resulted in an MMC and D&C on November 5th.
Issues (if any): None known
Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): Temp, OPKs, lots of BD
Link to chart: I don’t remember how to do that… I’ll figure it out
What are your biggest challenges right now? I convinced myself that I would be one of those people who is super fertile post-mc and would conceive again right away. While this is our first TTC cycle and that hasn’t been proven wrong yet, I am starting to get a sinking feeling that that won’t be the case, especially with this very early O. I know how dissapointed I will be when AF comes right around Christmas. Also, I am obsessed with TTC and check FF/WB about 1000 times a day. I need to take it down a notch.
Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: At the moment I’d say I cope by obsessing, but it’s not a very good coping strategy. I don’t recommend it. I do love to sew and find that when I’m immersed in a project I don’t think about anything else, so I have been sewing a lot.
Just for fun: What is your dream vacation? A ski resort surrounded by pretty snow covered mountains where I can sip hot chocolate and snuggle with my husband sounds great!

GingerBaby:  What sewing projects have you been doing? I’m trying to focus on other things as well, and thinking i should get out the sewing machine. For now it will just be mending but might also try to make a dress for my small doggie.

Is anyone in their FW? I’ve got a whole lot of BD coming up between tomorrow and Monday and I’m excited! I get soooo hopeful every month!

Kabatchy2be:  @FreckledFox: I will be in upstate NY (Rochester) visiting my husband’s family for a week around Christmas. I’m looking forward to getting away and hoping that, in the event we are able to do an IUI before, it helps to pass my TWW quickly.

DuckInBlue:  Welcome, I’m so sorry for your loss. I understand just wanting to get it all “over with” after the diagnosis. Hopefully this is your month! My husband will be 37 next year (i know its different for females) but i hear the clock ticking for him to be a young dad. The stress isn’t good, but its hard to forget about. Hope that your next pregnancy sticks so hard!

MC History: One neonatal loss (born at 29w) at 6 days old
Issues (if any): Previous preterm birth, pPROM, early bleeding
Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): We have been BD EOD, this is the first cycle ttc for us. I’m doing prenatals, and hoping for a miracle. Once i do get my bfp, i’ll start getting monitored immediately and have prog shots at 16 weeks on to prevent preterm labor.

What are your biggest challenges right now? The fear of what comes after those 2 pink lines. Counting down the days to viability, and not enjoying anything about this pregnancy.
Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes:  “Why not me?”  “Each new pregnancy is a new story with a new ending”.  Yoga has helped me SO much. It calms my body and brain from all of the bad thoughts. I have been trying to just go on more dates, and trips and appreciate life and my husband.
Just for fun: What is your dream vacation?  Umm…. i would love to go to Costa Rica, or maybe Ireland or Italy. haha
