FreckledFox:  ugh! I HATE wonky cycles!!

I had an appointment at the spa Friday (which was to keep my mind off TTC) and OF COURSE the technician was 8 months pregnant lol We got to talking, and she mentioned she did the Fertility Diet all three times she wanted to get pregnant, and it happened quickly for her (she had her first baby at 34). From what I gathered, you’re supposed to have a serving of whole milk daily, no animal protein and no alcohol. Is anyone trying this? I’m not sure I can give up meat, but it definitely made me think about eating healthier on the whole, and I’m willing to do the milk thing. I don’t drink much anyway at this point (the joys ttc robs us of lol). I also heard that following the whole30 lifestyle can help fertility. Any thoughts?

leahdany:  Thank you, thank you, thank you! <3

I’m really anxious. I called my obgyn to ask about beta testing and scheduling an ultrasound in a few weeks, but haven’t heard back yet. Funny enough, I actually got a missed call/voicemail from their office and assumed it would be the ob scheduler returning my call, but it was actually the infertility nurse letting me know my progesterone confirmed ovulation. Hah!

HaaaveYouMetTed:  Sorry about AF but good on you for trying to get healthy. I was always so focussed on ttc that I would not want to overdo it with exercise either. Now i’m on an exercise ban and needing to eat all the time with my steroids so I feel like my weight is just going crazy at the moment.

futuremrssquiggs:  The diet sounds interesting. I have heard that dairy does help with fertility.

Ladies i’m so scared I have my follow up ultrasound today in 4hours after my not so great one 2.5weeks ago. I’ve been keeping busy and laying low since then. I was measuring a week behind with Low h/b please pray that baby has grown 2.5weeks bigger with a strong hb. Was awake all night panicking.

HaaaveYouMetTed:  maybe sneaky BDing will do the trick!!! Please make a pact with me! I’ve been making better choices since my facial over the weekend  (3 days…am I skinny yet!?!?). I’m not going to go full fledge with the “Fertility diet” but really try to curb all processed foods.

bubbycakes:  thinking of you and wishing so hard for good results!!

I had my appointment with my OB this afternoon. She doesn’t think I need it, but she gave me a referral to an RE!! I was just browsing their website, and then all of a sudden I was making an appointment for next Wednesday. GULP! Last time I had an appointment, I ended up preggo. Maybe that will happen again!?!

GingerBaby:  Thank you so much!

Ultrasound was a success! I think I was so stunned that I still haven’t processed it. Baby had either caught up or the dates were all wrong the first time. Now measuring exactly where I thought I was at 8w4d.heartbeat was great too. Thanks so much for all your support during this crazy journey. Never would have thought it would take so many detours to get here. Praying like crazy that you girls get your healthy babies soooo fast. No one deserves it more than the lovely souls in this group.

FreckledFox:  chart stalking you. Sorry you’re O is hiding! I know everyone has cycles that are a little out of the norm once in a while but it’s frustrating when it happens!

AFM, so far the injectibles are pretty easy and painless to adminster. I woke up to a bad headache this morning but not sure if it’s related. Just hoping all the needle pokes are worth it!

Also, I went out to dinner with some friends last night who I don’t see very often. I confided in one as we left the restaurant about all my TTC woes and sure enough she let me know she had a mc before her son. She also told me one of our mutual friends conceived 2 of her 3 babies through IVF. Idk, just something comforting about knowing other people IRL have had their own struggles.
