HaaaveYouMetTed:  Boys are so silly. Let him think Sienna was his idea in a few months and he will be all for it! :o)

Thunderstorm:  I am so sorry you find yourself here. I never want any new girls to come to this board, because it means so much heartache has brought them here! I hope your time is short!

Kabatchy2be:  She also has a 16 month old and I remember crying when I found out she was pregnant with him.  I hate that feeling. That I am now having people lap me with all my hopes and dreams. I am trying not to be an angry bitter lady, but I am pretty sure I already am one. I am sorry for  your weekend. 🙁

HaaaveYouMetTed:  I didn’t find Mucinex to help me either the one month I tried it. Make sure you have the right one though, there are two out there and one of the active ingredients dries you up.

With my Positive OPK (thanks everyone for weighing in :o) on Saturday, I am still not sure if I Oed yesterday or today (some months I had a positive 2 days before O), so I am making sure we don’t give up! If I Oed yesterday, we hit o-3, o-2, o, o+1. If I O today, we hit o-3, o-1, o, o+1. I tried to do every other day, but I am so scared of missing it. Seems we are more two days on, one day off. We always stop BDing shortly after a positive OPK, so I am going to make sure we keep at it until at least Wednesday in case we are missing it.

Roll call:

Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): not sure if this will be a rest or TTC yet. still deciding…

MC History: MC at almost 9 weeks, after having complications since week 5 (June 2015) and MC at 8.5 weeks, baby’s hert stopped beating and was not developing properly- no yolk sac visable (January 2016)

Issues (if any): hashimotos but under control, possible blood clotting d/o- getting repeat tests 3/21

Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): If blood clotting test comes back positive, I will start baby aspirin and blood thinners

Link to chart: n/a

What are your biggest challenges right now? not being pregnant when everyone else is- seems we all have that in common. fear and anxiety about getting pregnant again and just feeling sad.

Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: this board, trying to keep busy with fun activities

Just for fun: What are your top baby names? Boy: Caleb, Girl: Logan

I would love some input/opinions on this: so I may have a blood clotting disorder- I am getting bloodwork repeated on 3/21. I had to wait for this bloodwork to be done because apparently you need to not be pregnant for a certain amount of time. My doctor told me we can start trying after my period and I should be ovulating in the next week.

I am scared to try because what if something is wrong and I could have prevented it by waiting- but also i want to try because I am sick of waiting and this whole thing. My doctor does not think i have a blood clotting problem and if I do, doesnt think thats what caused my MC’s.  What would you guys do? Think I should go for it?

HaaaveYouMetTed:  ha I’ve seen that before. So trueee!

mrsm42712:  I’d probably just go for it and try if your dr thinks the blood clotting didn’t have anything to do with the mc.

futuremrssquiggs:  Sounds like you had great timing!! FX!!

AFM, FIFTH freakin scan today and my follicles still aren’t ripe. My lining has thickened and I just started getting EWCM so I’m hoping that they’re just growing ever so slowly since everything else seems to be progressing. I know slow and steady is the better way to be but I wouldv’e thought I’d be ready to trigger by now after FIFTEEN (!!!) days of injectables. Sigh.

Kabatchy2be:  Please forgive my stupid ignorance. I know NOTHING about fertility treatrments. What are you injecting if you aren’t triggering?

Hi All,

sadly I am here again after having my second miscarriage a few days before Christmas. Our first miscarriage was in May and our first baby was due Dec. 28th, so to find out we were pregnant again in December and then have our second right before our first was due was devastating.

Roll call:

Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): We are NTNP this cycle. We were resting up until this month when we finally got the clear to try again. Our last miscarriage was actually an ectopic pregnancy but because I had started miscarrying naturally we did not need surgery.

MC History: First in May at a little over 6 weeks and the last one right before Christmas (ectopic) at 5 weeks

Issues (if any): High DHEA and slight clotting

Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): I started drinking spearmint/peppermint tea twice a day as I heard it lowers testosterone/DHEA which can cause lower quality eggs and later ovulation. Started this in January. This month according to my chart (could be because I’m sick also) it looks like I ovulated on cycle day 11! which is crazy early for me – normally it’s not until day 20 or so. I also take a baby aspirin and vitamin D supplement.

Link to chart:

What are your biggest challenges right now? All of my friends (not an exagerration) are due to have their first babies in the next few weeks. Hard being around so pregnant women and only hearing about babies – also have several friends who gave birth in January.

Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: Just knowing that waiting has always been my thing and it’s always worked out. I was the last to get married and had an amazing wedding, being the last to have a kid just means it will be extra special for me when the time comes.

Just for fun: What are your top baby names? Oliver James and Lily Lou

Hi All,

Roll Call: i got pregnant on my 2nd cycle once my mirena was removed. I am currently waiting to pass my baby.

MC history: I had a scan at 10 weeks (today) only to find out my baby passed away 2 weeks ago. I am currently at home hoping to pass my baby and if not I will be going for a d&c in the next few days.

issues: endo & pcos.

Action plan: wait until everything returns to normal before trying again I suppose. Does anyone know how long you have to wait before you can start ttc again?

biggest challenge: my sister in law is pregnant which will be hard. This baby was also due on my sons 3rd birthday so I’m worrying that I will be sad on his birthday.

Current coping strategies: venting to the bees and my husband. Oh and chocolate.

Top baby names: jones for a boy and ruby for a girl.

futuremrssquiggs:  haha no worries. I’m using an injectable medication (vs oral meds like clomid or femara) to help my eggs grow. Injectables can give you better egg quality and a general better response but that’s doesn’t seem to be the case for me apparently! My dr thinks I’m responding, just very very slowly. Compared to others who have used injectables, I’m definitely responding much slower than average but hopefully I’ll make it to trigger soon.

MissGatitas:  jessc27:  Welcome ladies. So sorry about your losses. Hope your rainbow is right around the corner! As far as when to ttc again, I had to wait till I got AF after my d&c and then sit out one cycle.

Kabatchy2be:  hoping your next scan brings good news.

MissGatitas:  jessc27:  sorry you both find yourselves here, but it is incredibly supportive. For both my MC’s I was told to wait for a period then i could try again.
