Roll call:

Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): TTC Cycle. O-2 (hopefully). Not super regular, but have O’d on CD19 the last 2 cycles. Hoping for the same this cycle.

MC History: TTC since July 2014. Got pregnant in October. MC’d at 12 weeks on New Years Day 2015. Residual hCG issues required a D&C in April. First cycle back to TTC was in June. This is the second cycle of trying since my MC back in January. It’s been a long road, but it’s great to be back on the TTC train after a long drawn out wait.

Issues (if any): None that the doctor is concerned with. I am a little concerned because they found a “mass” during my D&C that they removed, but pathology lost it.

Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): Just prenatals, and OPKs. Trying PreSeed this cycle, but we’ve only used it once. It’s not super romantic to try and use it in the heat of the moment. haha.

Link to chart: N/A

What are your biggest challenges right now? Keeping up with BD. It’s exhausting for both of us. I’m also discouraged by the whole journey. It’s feeling like it may never happen. I’ve started looking into what it takes to adopt.

Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: No real coping strategies. Just trying to keep busy so that TTC doesn’t consume my whole life. Taking weekend trips. Staying busy at work. Getting some exercise.

Roll call:

Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): TTC Cycle. I’ve either O’d last night or this morning.

MC History: TTC since November 2014. Got pregnant in January (first time using Pre-Seed). MC/CP at 5 weeks exactly in February 2015. Got pregnant in April, another CP mid-May πŸ™

Issues (if any): Everything came back normal for me except a MTHFR A1298C mutation. Now taking Folate to compensate.

Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): Prenatals, OPKs, Pre-Seed, baby aspirin, vitamin D, probiotics, progesterone after O, extra folate.

What are your biggest challenges right now? The BDing EOD gets boring and not fun. I’m having a hard time being into it like if it were fun sex. Sometimes I don’t have faith in my body and feel like I’m never going to be able to carry a child. I’m getting better believing in my body but it’s a work in progress.

Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: Just rying to stay positive and believe that we will have our babies soon. When I do get pregnant next I’ll probably just try to not think about being pregnant so I don’t freak out about everything.

What are your biggest challenges right now? oh boy, fear of it happening again. Aside from the grief and sadness. Just had my first therapy appt. Hoping we can tackle some of those issues. My due date is coming up so I’m dreading that.

Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes:  Hugs from Darling Husband, therapy, and just trying to be excited for our future (scary as that sounds). My new favorite photos:

Roll call:

Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): Rest cycle

What are your biggest challenges right now? Remaining positive – thinking that it will happen for us one day. Not turning into crazy wife. Remembering that there is more to life than TTC and recognising that while this may be my struggle, the rest of my life is pretty freaking good!

Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: I am trying to be more purposefully mindful. I’m not particularly hippy dippy but I’ve been getting more into meditation recently. Just trying to breathe in and out and realise that this is all part of the journey.

HaaaveYouMetTed:  FreckledFox:  Thanks for the lovely quotes ladies – totally what I needed to see today

HaaaveYouMetTed:  Ha I hear you on BD – burnout. One of the reasons I am so excited that next cycle will be medicated and monitored is that I will know exactly when I ovulate and there will be no CM checking for weeeeks at a time and no bding ‘just in case’

auggiefrog: Thanks hon – hoping all is going well with little baby Auggie

HaaaveYouMetTed: Haha what is this ‘optimism’ – I assume it’s not the same as my current tactic of moaning and groaning how it’s neeeeever going to happen and that I have the world’s dumbest body??

OliveFinn:  So far so good, I think.  I don’t have an appointment until early September, so right now I’m just hoping for the best.

Roll call: sorry for the bold, doing this on my phone!

Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): TTC cycle. Second one post d&c (which was exactly 3 months ago today, weird).

MC History: Started really trying Jan 2014. Had long, sometimes annovulatory cycles due to PCOS. After a few med combos, finally got a BFP in March 2015. At first OB appt at 10 weeks, found out we had an MMC at 8 weeks (immediately after an urgent US check at the RE due to spotting where we saw a heartbeat. Prob lost the baby later that day.).

Issues (if any): See above.

Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): Took femara and ovidrel again- same combo that brought BFP. We were supposed to try IUI this cycle but our nurse screwed up and we were missing some necessary blood work results. Sigh.

What are your biggest challenges right now? Getting pregnant? It happened once though so I try and remember that to keep hope it can happen again.

Current coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: Coping by planning fun things to do while not pregnant. We recently took a hot air balloon ride and are leaving soon for a cruise to Alaska -where I’ll either find out I’m pregnant or get AF. Aka will make the trip amazing or probably put me in a funk.

So thankful for all the support from this thread πŸ˜™

OliveFinn:  I feel like we’re similar with our TTC experience, PCOS, etc. Hope you’re able to try again soon and have a rainbow waiting for you around the corner!
